When I need to pick up some flowers or stuff animal, I come here. This a whole sale flower shop, so you walk in the refrigerated section and pick the flower you want. Theyre always fresh and they a big selection. They have other things like whole vases (you know the kind the florist uses), some fake flowers, a small selection of potted plants, and a small selection of stuff animals. You dont get much service here, so if youre going to ask for something be as specific as you can. Ive gotten potting soil for my plants here and its not the greatest, so you do better getting miracle grow at Home Depot.

Although the flowers are fresh and they sell in large growers bunches, it is not straight wholesale like you would get on Brannen Street in SF. However, if you cant make it to SF, this is the best option for larger quantities of flowers at somewhat below retail cost in the East Bay. And yes, their staff is not very friendly or helpful. With the price of real estate shooting up in Oakland, my hopes for a real wholesale market (multiple vendors, better pricing) are crushed.

Stumbled to this place while frantically looking for a florist. To my surprise it was located with five blocks of my place. Rush down within minutes, but no parking out front. Nice staff thatll bend head over heels to help you. Since I was afraid of being ticketed, the staff said pay for it and Ill have someone bring it out to you. Done deal I sat waited less than five minutes, I was on my way. Hidden gem in this part of Oakland.

Ive never seen a place so busy at 7 am (though, to be fair, it was Valentines Day) thats not a coffee shop! Good place if you are looking for bulk floral purchases, for events. They also have plenty of single arrangements (including roses) for sale, that were all top notch. The prices are higher than what you would pay at the grocery store, so keep that in mind...

Overpriced flowers in a rather dilapidated building with not the friendliest service. I recommend going to Berkeley Bowl (West) Florist which has a surprisingly wide range of flowers at half the price.
