The place was very hard to find. The store is tiny. I went there looking for either a seat or a trailer to allow my young child to ride with me. It was a rainy day and it looked like I was the only customer to come by recently, if not all day. When the gentleman at the counter (the owner?) got around to speaking to me, he wasnt too friendly. I told him what I was looking for and he said, We dont carry that kind of thing because Wal-Mart sells them cheaper." Um, yeah, and Wal-Mart sells bikes cheaper, too. I dont know - if its not something that sells for them and thats not their niche, thats fine. But it could have been said more respectfully. And since their website makes such a big deal of selling balance bikes for small children, youd think theyd be at least somewhat equipped for family cycling gear. Dont send me off to Wal-Mart just because Im a woman and Im not coated head to toe in cycling gear.

You could drive by easily without seeing it, but this is a great place to get your bike fixed for a reasonable price. I had a disappointing experience at the ludicrously overpriced Spokes. Also, Community Bicyclist was apparently too good to even think about repairing my Target-bought Schwinn. They instead sent me to NLRB. The guy who works here provides quick, no BS service. He recently replaced my tires for less than $50. And it was done in a couple days (he even called to tell me the bike was ready). This guy gets all my bike business.

This guy knows bikes and seems to genuinely enjoy helping any bike enthusiast or noobs. Hes not pretentious; hes rather eccentric. Kind and fair with prices (about the same or better than Amazon), though he didnt try to sell me anything.
