Worst service i have ever received. Checking out lady was nice, besides asking me several times to open a Marshalls card.. No means No and i shouldnt have to feel obligated why im saying no.. 2nd got the new chip card, their card reader wasnt working so slid the card. She says your declined, i stated No, its a debit and there is over $1000 in my account. I had over $300 worth of clothes that i was purchasing. She had me slide it again. Still she looks me in the face with other customers around and says you dont have the money cause its declined. I was so upset, i just left in embarrassment at the way she addressed me. I called my bank and they tell me that she charged me twice and the transition went through. I told them that i didnt even get what i tried to purchase. The bank tells me to go back and they will stay on the line and talk to them. I go back and they lady just has this ugly look on her face. I said i want your mgr, she doesnt do anything. I said i have my bank on the line and you have charged me twice, she no you were declined. I said no, your card reader is messed up, she gets the mgr. I tell the mgr my frustrations and what happened. She asks the employee did it really say declined? She looks at the message and it instructed her to call my bank as their card reader wasnt picking it up so she could have entered it manually. They see they charged me twice and finally refund me. But i will never ever go back to this place and waste my money on incompetent workers

YAY! Ahwatukee has a conveniently located Marshalls! I have to admit Im a huge Ross fan so I was a little worried they would put Ross out of business but what Ive learned is Ross seems great for household merchandise and Marshalls is better for clothes. Their clothes are very affordable! Marshalls staff seem friendlier than Ross too. Cannot beat the prices!!
