I had been looking to get my hands on the new Honda Grom. No other dealer near me had any in stock, and when they would get them, theyd leave the store in short order. I managed to finally see one the day it came in at RideNow. The staff was very nice and helpful when I was looking at it and considering buying it. They were also informative when giving me the final walkthrough of my bike. My only complaints involve communication. First, when I was there and applied for financing, I wasnt told that it was right on the cusp of when Honda Financing would be closed and that I probably wouldnt get an answer until the following day. Instead, we waited around for 40 minutes thinking we would have an answer. My husband even left to go get his truck, under the impression wed be taking the bike home that day. I found out after he left that it would be the next morning, so he had to come all the way back just to get me. It was an unnecessary trip. I feel the lack of communication between financing and my salesman was unnecessary and inconvenient. Second, when I came back the next day for the bike, I wasnt told that I needed proof of insurance. It was my first time buying a new vehicle and financing it, so I wasnt in the know about what I needed. Not a huge deal, I was told I could send that over later. Still though, for a dealership as large as RideNow Peoria, you know it isnt their first rodeo, so you might expect to get all the info up front. Lastly, there was a delay in getting insurance on the bike because I wasnt informed up front that full coverage was required. I dont need full coverage on a non-primary vehicle, so right now I just want to pay the damn thing off and be done with the high premium and financing. Since I wasnt told up front that the full coverage was required, there was a bit of back and forth between myself, my insurance agent, my lender and RideNow to get clarification and have everyone on the same page. Again, not the end of the world, but I would have expected a large dealership to have their act together a bit better. Overall, it was a decent experience. I got the bike I wanted and Im happy with it. Ill likely never want to buy a bike new again though unless Im paying for it in full. The process of financing it was a little too annoying for me since certain pieces of information were left out where they should not have been and there were unnecessary delays. Perhaps RideNow could compile a checklist of things needed or things to expect for first time buyers. Something like that would have helped tremendously for me. The process would have gone a lot quicker and smoother had I been properly informed. If youre new to buying and financing, ASK MORE QUESTIONS. Dont depend on them to tell you everything you need for the process to go smoothly. Again, Id like to stress that my salesman, the sales manager and my finance guy were nice, and the issues were primarily just poor communication here and there. The take away for RideNow would be to brush up the process a bit and make it a more pleasant experience for customers, especially first time buyers.

I bought a Sportsman 800 LE several months ago at the beginning of this year. I was injured in a freak accident, I broke my neck. I decided I would trade in the quad for a RZR-S so I started the trade in process. I got less for the trade than Id have liked, the quad had 95 miles/5.8 hours on it. I expected as much so I negotiated hard against the retail price of the RZR. I got a decent deal on the RZR. The salesman started out higher than MSRP on the RZR and I caught that right away, and he came down on the price. I had a coupon for a $50 gift card if you purchase an ATV, so before I go to sign the paperwork I hand him the coupon and tell him I also want a free helmet or no deal. He came back and negotiated a $150 gift card. I figured what the heck, lets just do that. I sign the paperwork and pick out a helmet. RideNow delivered the RZR the next day in good condition, no scratches or dings. As I went thru my paperwork packet I noticed that there was a $150 charge on it. When I added up the totals is appeared that I had financed the helmet as well as paid for it. Needless to say I was unhappy. After speaking with the salesman he told me that they had subtracted $150 from the cost of the RZR and added it in another column because thats the only way they could show the gift card in their accounting. Im not inclined to believe much of what a salesman says so I wrote a scathing review of my experience at RideNow Peoria. It appeared that not only did I pay for the helmet but I financed it as well...Additionally, when discussing extended warranties I told the salesman that I was ok with $5-10 a month extra, but no more. After doing the math the extended warranty with finance charges was another $31 a month. I went down to the dealership and spoke with Matt Sheridan, who I had originally purchased my Sportsman 800 from. I canceled the warranty and he asked me about my previous review. He wanted to sit and talk about my experience and because I had liked my previous interaction with him I did just that. We talked for a while and he told me hed rush process the warranty for me. We discussed everything with the RZR purchase and Im going to take his word for it that they have to do a work around every time they do a gift card with a purchase. He explained what accounting program they use and that they lost some functionality with some of the recent updates. When I went in to cancel my warranty I had no intention of setting foot in the store again. The way Matt Sheridan expressed his concern over having a happy customer changed my mind. Thanks Matt, for taking the time out for me.

Recently purchased a 2006 Dyna Lowrider from Dan. I had not owned a bike in 10 year and the bike previously owned was undersized and a metric bike. I wanted American and a bike that fit and had plenty of power. Dan is great! He worked with me to fit me to the bike of my dreams. He took the time to help me work through what I needed and what I could afford. FUrther more he walked me through with Gentry getting the gear I needed with the 600 gift card I was presented with. Matt in financing did an excellent job and as some other reviews state acted like a friend. THe other review state this in a negative way. I disagree and do consider these guys as friends. I have seen them on several occasions and have also been able to use them as a resource when I have had questions. I was also able to purchase my insurance from Tracy, who is a cool lady with a great family. I had a problem with the bike as it was not running right. Dan had provided me with his cell phone number and stressed if I had any question to call him any time. This was comforting being new to Harley and having not been on a bike in ten years. I called Dan several times and he always answered my question and was cool and friendly. I believe he really cared about my saftey, purchase and my understanding the bike and bike operation. The bike was not running right. Called Dan and he said bring it down asap. I came in on the next day which was a holiday and they opened up the service department and put a tech on the bike until it was perfect. Of course I was a little freaked out that I had an issue with my bike and expressed this with Matt and Dan. They reassured me that they woulod make the bike right even to the point of considering a swap should it come to that point. It did not and now I am addicted to my daily rider. I am the proud owner of an 06 Dyna Lowrider. I know there are some negative review and had I looked at them I may have not gon to RNPS but I am glad I did as this was the best buying experience I have had. The team at RNPS is great and I highly reccomend them. I have a few Bell Retro helments on order for my kids and it ahs been a week. This is a downer as I want the gear. I anything changes and the group fails to meet the standards they have set I will review again but I just dont see this happeneing based off my experience over the last month.
