Jayare did my first tattoo. He wouldnt work with my idea and I didnt like his attitude from the start, but got the work done anyway. His after care instructions were as follows: "Use a little aquafor a lot of times." Thats it. So I did what he suggested and used a little aquafor a lot of times. My tattoo faded drastically, and i understand that once the tattoo heals, the color will settle into the skin and wont look like it was just done forever, but this wasnt right. Then maybe about a week after the tattoo was done, it started smelling horrible and was very painful. I was sure it was infected. When i explained this to Jayare the response i got was "Well Ive never heard of that in my 15 years of tattooing." I reached out to Rick and Tony from Kaos Theory Tattoo, and they were very helpful! They assured me it was not infected and helped me clean it up and gave me proper care instructions. Jayare always advertised free touch ups if the tattoo wasnt looking right after healing, which mine wasnt. Well, he didnt make the tattoo solid like I had asked in the first place ( I couldnt tell when I got it done as everything was so dark and fresh). It was very patchy after healing and needed touched up (for the third time now) and he was arguing saying I just wanted to alter it, which is not true. I got a paw print with my dogs portrait in it. What am I going to alter it to? A dog house? I wanted it fixed and done correctly. He did touch up but it still is not reflecting what I asked. Ill take my losses and go somewhere else to get it done correctly.

I got my nosed pierced at Idle Hands Tattoo by that really cute piercer named Jason I think it was. He was extremely professional and funny. Piercing and entertainment. He made me feel extremely at ease and I barely noticed when he pierced. Everyone at the shop is extremely nice and if someone went in there and got a piercing without parental consent, that is their fault and not that of the shop. Maybe you shold keep that girl on a shorter leash for if she is getting piercing illegally. what else is she doing illegally. something to think about while bashing a shop that has been around for a very long time with an amazing reputation. Stick to your shop in New England... And for your information, they are extremely sterile. I always reccomend my friends to Idle Hands and have witnessed the extreme steriling conditions that they go through. I suggest next time not opening your mouth before you actually know what you are talking about Tsk tsk tsk tsk on you.

My boyfriends 15 year old sister just got pierced at this shop with out an ID and without parental consent. I am a body piercing technician in New England and both my boyfriend and I are heavily tattoo and pierced so we are not new to the game. I STRONGLY recommend not supporting this shop. If they are willing to break the law and do body modifications on minors with out parental consent, what other illegal activities are going on in this establishment? Are they sterilizing their jewelry, needles, and forceps? Or is that just another law you can look the other way on? Tsk tsk tsk on you guys.

I had a 8g piercing done at a tattoo convention and the piercer (forgot his name) did a fantastic job. I could tell much care was taken for sterilization and consistency between the ears. Given the crazy environment at the convention he was very professional and would highly recommend their business. I got a discount on some cleaning solution and when I lost the rubber ringlets for one of the tubes weeks later, they were replaced for free at the shop. Good business!

After having bad customer service experiences at another shop, a friend recommended me to Jayare at Idle Hands and Im REALLY happy with him! His customer service is outstanding, and his work is lovely. Even though this was my first tattoo, he didnt treat me weird about it and was good at explaining everything and making me feel comfortable. If I do get another piece done, Ill be coming here again for sure.

Went to a couple other shops with horrible or entirely lacking customer service, then we went a little out of our way to Idle Hands. It was for a simple nose piercing for my girlfriend, but Ill be going back for the sleeve and other things we both want tattooed. Jason did the work, was very nice and calming. Awesome shop, good looking work. Cute bull dog as well.

We had an awesome experience with our artist, Joe. We cant say enough about our tattoos, the atmosphere, the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and incredibly talented. Shop was immaculate. Joe made us feel so comfortable and the conversation was never dull. We will be back for sure!

These guys are absolutely phenominal in the piercing department. Ive had five piercings done by Jason and I will never go anywhere else. Hes very sanitary, professional, makes you feel comfortable and you have a laugh all at the same time. Always a pleasure coming to Idle Hands!

Best place to go. Friendly and great. If you want a tat ask for JD. Have had him do one for me, have sent a few friends over and am gonig back to have another one. JD will be the only person I let do a tattoo on me again

pretty sanitary. ive only gotten dermals done there; jason is totally cool. he makes you feel very comfortable before he does his work. id reccomand going there if your super nervous!
