I walked in the shop just to get a couple quotes... Ended up leaving with a tattoo. I really couldnt resist. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted, and without them being able to read my mind, I was pretty sure my idea couldnt be captured. I was wrong. After a consult (which thoroughly covered everything an artist should; design, size, place, price, etc) Sammy showed me his sketch and I was in love. I chose one of the more painful places to get a tattoo, and he still managed to make the experience a pleasant one. Sammy gave me a break in the middle, and was funny and entertaining throughout. All the guys in the shop were, really. They have a good vibe and kept me laughing. I also want to note, since Id only intended on getting a quote, I had brought my 9 and 10 year olds with me. I really dont recommend anyone else do this.. but when my kids got a bit restless, they put a kid movie on for them, which I appreciated. Im sure it was frustrating for them having 2 fairly rambunctious kids making noise and carrying on, but the guys really tried to be accommodating. Anyway, I already know what my next piece will be, and when the time comes, this will be the place. The staff is great, the work is amazing, and the price is more than reasonable, the shop is clean, and the environment is chill. What more could you ask for?

I moved to the area a couple years ago and recently started looking for a shop. As a person with a handful of tattoos already, I was a little nervous to come because I made my decision off of reviews and some pictures online. I went in and met the owner Kenneth. He was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. I was able to get an appointment within a couple weeks to start my half sleeve. I had my first session last week which went perfect. It was a very friendly atmosphere and although I havent finished my tattoo yet, it is looking so amazing so far and is healing great. Im looking forward to my appointment next month and would highly recommend him to anyone I know! Also very reasonably priced!

I like to say That when I went to Next wave tattoo Kenneth did my tattoo he did a awesome work and the colors he used made my tattoo look really good, and when I got my piercings done , he explained it very well , on how to clean your peircings, not looked the other places that I have gone to, and I hade to remove my peircings and let it heal before, I got it done again. I am glad I went to Next wave Tattoos, best place to go. If theres a way to up load the pictures I would , thanks again kenneth at Next wave Tattoos...

It was my first time at Next Wave, and I actually found them through a friend who showed me their instagram! I messaged them a few times, along with some other shops to find the best price along with the best artwork. Next Wave gave me the absolute best price Ive seen with tattoo shops. I got my three tattoos, minimalistic, done in 2 hours for $160! Thats about $53 per. I love the results, and Huck gave me time to breath during the tattoos. I am happy with the results, and loved watching Skin Wars during!

Kenneth Shaw is an extremely talented & hard working artist. Ive had other "artists" tattoo my body, none of which perfect the art that he does. I get an astronomical amount of compliments on the tattoos he has done for me. My sleeve he is working on is still in progress, and I cant even tell you how many times ive had random strangers tell me "their guy can finish that for you for real cheap." I will never again let anyone other than Kenneth tattoo me.

Kenneth Shaw has done all of my tattoos and did a beautiful cover up of a skull on my neck, also I have referred all of my friends and family to him and everyone has been very pleased with his work. Kenneth Shaw is a talented dedicated artist and a very professional buisnessman. This is the only person I will let tattoo on me or do my pericings and I will always send anyone that wants any ink done his way.

Ive now gone to this shop 14 times total to get work done. All the artist are friendly and clean as well as the shop is always clean. They are good at what they do and the prices are good. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. I like the conversation we have there and I like that I saw Ken outside the shop and he still spoke with me for a bit. So I would say spend your money here with these guys

To say I have high standards is an understatement. I went in for a piercing after reading reviews. Easy to find, Next Wave was clean and friendly. The owner was helpful and efficient. The piercing was done quickly and I left with a packet of aftercare info. Im going to be going back in a couple weeks with my sister to get another piercing. Ive found my AZ tat shop!

The owner Kenneth is awesome. Super professional and knowledgeable in his field of tattooing and piercing. Ive personally had him tattoo me for a couple pieces and brought my 16 year older sister (with parent consent of course) to be pierced by him. If youre looking for a piece thats out of the box and want to get really creative, definitely seek him out.

Get your next piece of art here! Seriously. They have an awesome new shop, are clean, friendly and fairly priced. I went in a couple years ago for a zia on my wrist and Kenneth has a customer for life. His facial detail on a tattoo is something very few can accomplish so flawlessly. The other artists in the shop are awesome too!

Ive gotten both my tattoos from here and I love it! The artists really capture what you want, I actually got a lavender tattoo that is by far my favorite because of how life like it looks. Sam did an amazing job and now I plan to definitely get more ink done here at this location.
