MOST AWFUL TATTOO SHOP IN UTAH! i came in around november to get very special tattoos done for my sister that recently passed away and once they had ALREADY started my tattoos i noticed that EVERYONE in the shop had alcohol and had been smoking weed. so i got a tattoo so awful i cant even explain it....not only that they promised to get a tattoo removal system a week after so i figured id be okay cause id get it removed soon. well nope after that everyone in the shop blocked me and my family and ignored our phone calls and texts and theyre tattoo artist matt elton said some very messed up things to me and acted like it was my fault my tattoo was completely messed up. and the owner James was no help at all either everytime i talked to him he acted like it was my fault my tattoo was messed up and was too worried about his trip to hawaii to help me out. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP AT ALL!!!!!! oh and not to mention my boyfriend had to remind him how to spell head on my tattoo!! what kinda of place is this?!?! savage ink is a JOKE!!!!! this was all back in the beginning of november and its march now and they STILL have done nothing to help. PATHETIC. these people are NOT professionals!!

Went there for my first tattoo done by Jeffrey. Trusted him to do my 2nd and that was a mistake. Charged me $100 for a small tattoo on the side of my hand. A few days later, the ink peeled off and got even worse. I called the shop and they were shocked too, and said to come in and anyone will fix it. I called today to make sure someone was there, and Jeffrey was. He said he told me it would just come off on my hand regardless. I had someone with me when I got the tattoo, and neither of us heard that. I wouldnt have gotten a tattoo if i knew it was just going to come off. Who would? So he did say he would touch up for free, but that itll just come off anyway. I did go to another shop to confirm all of this was true. So now Im having to pay over $200 to get it removed. Very disappointed that I threw $100 in the trash. And even more for the removal. They are sanitary from what Ive seen, but definitely not professional. Theyre all on drugs/alcohol while doing tattoos. Not sure why they still have stars on here.

Brought my daughter in to have her ears pierced. I had heard tattoo parlors are very sanitary and I had no desire to take her to Claires. The guy arrived late (he admitted he was sleeping) then when he was ready almost 30 minutes later, the 3 of us there had to be subject to some angry rage music that sounded terrible (I get that its a tattoo parlor, but there are less hard stations). When it was time, the guy said he was going to do it "freehand" which we didnt understand what that entailed. Needless to say, our daughter cried through the entire experience, the studs were terrible, the service was unprofessional and poor, and in the end, they kept falling out and hurting her every time we tried to put them back in. We finally gave up, since she cried every time we touched her ears. When its all said and done, Im going to do a ton more research when we get her ears pierced the next time.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Worst most scandalous tattoo shop!! My girlfriend came in to get very meaningful tattoos done and everyone there was high, drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana...everyone there is unprofessional...you cant go an hour without getting high and drunk to do a 15 minute tattoo? This place is a joke. I feel bad for anyone that goes there. And when you need your tattoo touched up or fixed they block you and ignore all your messages. The Owner should not run this shop he cant even help his clients hes to worried about moving into his house and going on trips. NO ONE GO HERE. most unprofessional disgusting place Ive ever seen. And all theyre tattoo rooms look like old run down apartments that a hobo just got kicked out of. Theres garbage and disgusting stuff everywhere. I do not recommend this awful shop to anyone. If you have common sense DO NOT GO HERE

James savage is by far the most talented detailed artist there is, Ive had multiple cover ups as well as various other large pieces such as portraits done by him and all of them healed amazing and look near life like, Ive had so many compliments on them and feel absolutely ten times more confident with the way they look getting my ink done with james. His apprentices and the other artists that work along side of him at savage ink in American fork have all always been so awesome and kind and doing their jobs to the best of their ability becAuse of their genuine care for people and they build friendships and connections with all their clients. I love savage ink and will never go anywhere else. 5 stars. I highly reccomend this shop ❤

I brought my friend, Saphira, here to get one tattoo. She just wanted a halo with angel wings and the picture she brought was just lines and no shading or color. We showed it to her artist, Ryan, and he redrew it in a way that made the wings a lot more proportional and aestheticly pleasing. He also suggested she make the halo gold. His drawing he came up with looked much better than her picture and once it was tattooed we could tell that he really saved her from having a mediocre tattoo. He said he wanted to make it better because its his art, so you know he really cares how they come out! My mom, Saphira and I all want to go back next month for tattoos and were gonna request Ryan!

Ive been friends with James ever since he started tattooing me. I dont go to any other artist especially in Utah County, hes friendly, charges the best in the valley for what you get, and not to mention if youre a loyal customer he doesnt let it go unnoticed. His line work is the cleanest, his work ethic is amazing, his application of the ink is the softest and the healthiest to your skin because of how of the way he does his thing, and his color work is the brightest and heals the best. I am so very pleased with everything Ive got from him and I will continue to keep going to him! Keep it up James!

James Daniels probably the best tattoo artist in the state of Utah if not more than just that. The man is extremely well priced probably the best priced in Utah everyone else is overpriced and their tattoo artist suck Ive been seeing James about 5 years now and he amazes me more now than you did then the guys tattoos are extremely detailed very smooth. Hes very light headed color work is amazing. Im telling you guys if youre going to get a tattoo in in Utah you need to go see James hes got Facebook and Instagram you guys can look at dont just take my word for it go see him

Went to Savage Ink a week ago Friday . I had something dear to my heart in mind. The ease of appointments was great and worked well with my schedule. The artist that did my awesome tattoo was Ryan Crown. He did a beautiful job creating my infinity symbol with my kids names along the lines. Its my sixth tattoo and by far my favorite he did some drop shadowing that really made the names pop which is exactly what I wanted. The pricing was great and if your looking for some fabulous ink ask for Ryan Crown!!!!
