From the moment we parked the car, Ron smiled at us. Came over, introduced himself, shook our hands and asked how he could help us. As we explained what we needed, he listened and asked the right questions to try to fit our needs. Ron showed us the features of a couple of the cars we had mentioned and told us about the deals that were being offered not putting any pressure on us but walked us through the benefits of each type of vehicle. Because we are old Toyota customers and love the Rav4, almost 14 years old and going strong, that we have, we only needed to learned about new features. Once we decided on what we wanted, Ron worked with us and then introduced to Tom to finalize the sale. I did not feel pressured or pushed to make the purchase. Every single person was kind and helpful, offering us water or coffee or pointing us to the rest rooms which were comfortable and clean. It was a very nice experience. Thank you for that.

I would highly recommend avoiding this dealership, or at the very least a select individual. My wife and I were looking to purchase a new 2015 Highlander Limited. We contacted Earnhardt Toyota and spoke with Subash (Subby) Kumar, one of their Fleet/Internet Managers. Initially he was quite helpful and friendly and was able to secure the vehicle we wanted and even agreed on a purchase price. Last Thursday (1/8/15) he informed me the vehicle had arrived and was ready for me to come purchase. Upon my arrival the vehicle was in fact cleaned up and ready for me however I noticed a few additional items on it, specifically tint and a non-factory alarm. I proceeded to ask him if the price was still what we had discussed, to which he replied the purchase price was but that there would be an extra cost for the tint and alarm, which I had not requested. Essentially he took it upon himself to install these two items on the vehicle we were going to be purchasing without our prior request or approval, and was expecting us to pay for it. At this moment I should have just walked, and in fact I did say to him "we are done here" and started to leave. At that time he stated he would remove the alarm (which I believe is simply a flashing LED and maybe a siren for the low price of $799) and would give me the tint at his cost. I stated that was agreeable (despite the fact the purchase price was now $300 higher than initially discussed) and we went back inside the dealership. We went inside and sat down and began the paperwork. Despite my informing him that we were preapproved through our own bank for the loan and would be going with them he pulled out a Toyota Financial Services credit application form and asked us to fill it out stating it was a "soft credit application". I once again stated we were not going to complete this form and would not be going with TFS. At this point he became visibly frustrated and tore up the TFS application form. Next up was the trade-in value. He looked over our trade and then came back with the appraisal, which was on the very low end of KBB and NADA values. We presented him with an appraised value from a competing dealer (would have purchased through the competing one, however they did not have the vehicle in the color my wife wanted) and stated we would be willing to trade in our vehicle for the same appraised value from another dealer. He stated he would not match this amount, so once again we stated we were done here and began to leave. He then ask if he could see the appraisal and took this appraisal to some Sales Manager for review and then came back, with said Sales Manager, stating he would offer only $500 more than their initial offer (still $900 shy of the competing dealers appraisal). We stated that was not sufficient and that we were being reasonable as the value we were looking for was still in the KBB trade-in range for “Good” condition, which the vehicle is in. At this point we walked. Now, I want to say he did go out of his way to secure this vehicle and the experience prior to coming into the dealer was fine. However when my pregnant wife and I arrived it was typical car sales garbage. The fact Subby added on high margin items such as tint and an "alarm" without our approval and expecting us to pay for it was strike one. Trying to push TFS and yet another credit check after informing him we had no intention of going with TFS, strike two. Jerking us around on the trade, strike three. When I am purchasing a $40k+ vehicle I expect to be treated professionally. Instead they chose the typical car sales tactics. If you are in the market for a Toyota, are an uneducated buyer with marginal expectations regarding the buying experience then this is the dealership for you. If you know what you are doing and dont want to waste your time, go elsewhere.

I am appalled that Mr. Edward Dept sent out a notice stating that they can get you an approval with no money down to rebuild your credit after a bankruptcy just to be swindled and put on the back burner because youre not important because youre not right there at the dealership. I went Monday, September 14th at 7pm and met Papa J. I turned in all my paperwork. It started raining so we couldnt go look and he asked me to come back. I returned the following morning and met Remi! I had to repeat everything I had told Papa J the previous night since he said he couldnt find any of the information. I seemed so important while I was there and when I explained that I wanted an approval prior to purchasing a vehicle and Remi tried to push a vehicle I didnt like on me not to mention badmouth Earnhardt Kia when I asked about their Kia Soul sale they had currently were advertising. Then his manager, Mark came out because Remi told him that he felt I was pushing him into purchasing a car which I did feel like I was being pushed. Mark explained that he had the whole file for me. I was assured by Mark that he would call me later that day since I got to the dealership at 9am on Tuesday. I called him at 1:30pm to follow up. I was advised he was still working on it and he needs another hour and he will return my call. I received no call back. I called again at 7pm. Mark explained they were super busy and he still hadnt heard anything. Mark said he would call me the following day which would have been Wednesday. I called on Friday, September 18th after never being called back yet again. I spoke to Eric and he assured he would find out why and call me back and apologized. Eric called 2 hours later and stated they were still trying to get an approval but that he was keeping me posted and didnt want me to feel ignored. Eric is the only reason I would even give this dealer a single star. Remi just called at 10am on Saturday September 19th. He stated I would have to out $2500 down otherwise I would not be approved or my boyfriend could buy the car by himself. I told Remi thats not what I discussed with any of you and it took you almost a week to figure this out. He stated he was not at the store and that his manager had taken over. Excuses is all I can say. When I explained it was false advertising that the only reason I tried was due to the letter I got from the Mr. Ed Dept. Remi said well we did get your approved but you dont have the $2500. I told him again, you knew that from the beginning and still ran a hard credit inquiry not only on my credit but on my boyfriends credit. Remi is rude and condescending. And aside from Eric, no one really seemed to care unless I was at the dealership. It shouldnt take a week to get an approval or a denial. I have never had this poor of excuse for customer service before. Not to mention the false advertising especially to someone who just had to file bankruptcy and they get a letter from this company and its a ball face lie! Dont use this company! They dont care about the customer in any way! I went to post on their website and oddly enough I got all the way thru and yet there was no submit button.
