Extremely appalled at the performance of this Pet Club in Maricopa. This store should either hire better employees or get out of business. Asked Monday for a specific pet food, since they had only an almost expired bag of this food on the shelf. Was told they would get new delivery Wednesday, but could not order it. I shall get in contact with them on Thursday. So, I did. The young woman on the phone told me that they have received new delivery of this particular item, right there and then on the phone. And even though I insisted, that she should make sure and go to the shelf and really check on it, if they have really received new bags, she left, came back and LIED RIGHT INTO MY FACE: “Yes we have several bags of this particular item received”. When I went there to get it (while I did not ask a friend to bring it to me on his trip to Phoenix since they have it here in the store) there was once again only the old bag from Monday in the shelf, as the single bag available. I complaint, that I made an extra trip to their store to pick this item up, while they ha d lied right into my face. Then one of the (male) customer service people wanted me to buy the almost expired pet food bag. Due to their problems and bad conduct, I need to make an extra trip to Phoenix now, which costs me $10, while having lost already time on Monday, Friday and Saturday, just to get one single item of pet food. If such employees get soon $15 per hour paid (if minimum wage is raised) for not willing to work, nor for doing their jobs properly, not willing to order something or even to be HONEST to the customers, so help us God, that he has mercy on our country and society! Or better: Hire people that are worth their money, treat the customers decent and love their job and who know the value of having a job!

We have a dog with allergies which makes it hard to find a suitable dog food. After weeks of them not having the dog food we had been buying in stock, and even placing a “Special Order” they discontinued the sale of the dog food we were buying because “sales were low and the food was expensive”. We spoke with an employee who referred us to a brand of dog food which they “feed their dog”. So we bought the food and it appeared to keep the allergies at bay. Two weeks later, again after being out for weeks, they discontinued that food. I continually check online for pet food recalls and avoid food that has been recalled so I was happy to find a food that appeared to be good for my furry little kids. Unfortunately they don’t keep food on the shelf consistently. They routinely discontinue foods which makes it hard to find a good brand. This last time the discontinued the food they tried to refer us to another brand that has had 17 recalls in the last 5 years…Yeah no thanks!!! I think we might have to either find a better store to shop at or order online. I would not refer my worst enemy to this store. I love my dogs and they deserve the best food I can get for them. I am so disappointed that the only pet food store in this town is so incredibly bad. This review does not even touch on the horrible customer service they have from about 95% of their employees.

Theres a whole list of complaints but again today they didnt have what I needed and Ive had enough! Ive been buying the same dog food, same size since they opened, yet they RARELY have it. I cant be the only one buying it or theyd order ore right? There is never more than 3 bags. You MUST watch the dates and double check what they charge you at register verses the price on the shelf too. The bags of food almost always look old and beat up. I dont know if the companies are annoyed with them also if its something theyre doing to them. Most of the new employees are nice (the old one were NOT) but theyre clueless. They have no real knowledge of of the products and the standard answer is "Well have some on Wednesday" (note today IS Wednesday and didnt have it, didnt offer to go check if it was in the back or say check later today) Not to mention try using a coupon in there and its like Im trying to steal! Now you have to put your email on the back of the coupon or they wont let you use it. They could and SHOULD do better. Sadly, I try not to go there and have my husband pick up supplies before heading home.

Horrible service, staff does not know the product, expired food on the shelves! I went into purchase my cats canned food, I bought excatly what I was looking for the week before at the same store. The lady told me the product didnt excist. Then when I checked out she was very rude, kept working on paper work while I stood there waiting for her to ring me up. She kept turning her back to me. I told her, "good bye and to have a nice day". She just gave me a dirty look! The drive to Petco is worth the better service! And here is a picture of that product I buy, it does exist. They dont just make "chunks" as she so rudely told me!

I am so appalled at the customer service at the Pet Club in Maricopa. We made a purchase and specifically asked the sales associate about there return policy. When we needed to return the item, due to the fact that it did not fit in our house. The supervisor said no. No signs we posted, except for one on the counter, which the item was sitting on about their return policy. The supervisor stated it was not his problem. We could contact corporate. We will never go to this Pet Club again simply do to the fact of the lack of customer service by the supervisor. " Do what you need to do" is a direct quote from the supervisor.

They had a sale on dog treats something like 6.00 for 6 bags and one free......i didnt see them right off while there so one of the employees grabbed them for me . I didnt realize until I got home that the expectation date on the treats were only 4 days out! I called the store..i was told the manager said thats it NO REFUND! What a crummy way to do business!!! Selling close to or expired products!!!!! SO BE AWARE OF THE EXPIRATION DATES ESPECIALLY IF ITS ON SALE HERE!!

I love that Maricopa has this pet store to buy pet food from because the quality of food is much better then any grocery store. My dogs have to have food with no corn meal and fillers due to health issues. The food here has really helped my dogs over the years after struggling with health issues. The store is clean and the staff is helpful. This store makes my dogs happy and that makes me a happy pet owner.

I had what I was told the owner try to start a fight with me in the parking lot. Came up to my window and started yelling at me hiting my car and telling me Im gana get it. I got it all on video and will soon take to police. Big Mexican with no hair I mean what type of company lets people work there that act like tools and threaten people
