I called Pioneer Landscaping today and asked if they carried large 2" bark mulch for ground cover for my wifes garden. The guy I spoke to told me they had it and 1 yard covered 100 sq feet. We drove 20 minutes to their site and when we arrived were told the largest mulch they had was playground mix which is 1" and smaller. Then proceeded to tell me I had never called and they had never talked to me. I redialed the # in front of them and the phone rang. These guys lied to me and then told me I had never called. I will take my business elsewhere!

I ended up at this place on my way to a nearby quarry. They price matched, and I had the 15 tons of rip rap in my yard less than 24 hours later. My only concern is that the rip rap was suppose to be 3"-8" and I would say there is a good 1.5 to 2 tons of smaller, almost gravel-like pieces plus dirt (More of a problem with the quarry, not the company). I am not sure if they compensated for this, and I had more than enough rock to complete my project so, overall, I am satisfied and would purchase from this company again.
