My husband & I went in evening of 3/30/17 to order shades, inquire about doors & water softeners. Couldnt find anyone available to help us. I went back Friday morning 3/31/17. Went to order duplex shades. 1 sales person on phone 2 staring at computer. "Excuse me, could I get some help?" Brief pause before getting eye contact "What do you need? "Id love to order some shades." "What are you looking for?" "Im not looking, I want to place an order." "We have to order a measurement before you can order." "Yes, you have that information & Im here to give my payment." All so a sudden I was her best friend! Went to door department. Waited until salesperson was available. (I was obviously invisible.). "Could I get some information on interior doors?" "What do you want to know?" "Would you mind getting out of your chair & come over to the display with me?" (Heavy sigh but with some effort he was able to accomplish the task). I left with "its about this much to have them factory painted; its about this much to have them installed". I was obviously interrupting him from something!! Selling was NOT in his job description. Went to look at water softeners. Waited 6 minutes without a salesperson in sight. Was able to find someone in appliances who sent one over . He answered a few questions before he got a phone call regarding water heaters so would send someone else over to help me & left. 5 minutes later salesperson 2 arrived & I was able to get information I went for. Today April 1 went to Peoria store with my husband & got immediate assistance from Eddie,. He got out of his chair immediately & even used the computer to tell us how much our project would cost! Measure has been scheduled & well order doors next week. Amazing! I hope you people at Surprise store recognize who you are. I wont waste my time in there again but I will encourage anyone who shops there & is treated like this to do what Eddie suggested & go straight to store manager & complain immediately!

PLEASE, DON’T BUY APPLIANCES FROM THIS LOCATION. This isn’t our first bad experience attempting to complete an appliance order from Home Depot (This Location). We ordered a Refrigerator and Upright freezer on 2/3/17 with the earliest delivery of 2/11/17. When we didn’t get a call on 2/10/17 to verify our delivery, we called the store. The store told us to call the delivery company. The delivery company didn’t see any orders and told us to call the manufacture. Anyone else see the problem with this? We did as instructed, manufacture blames the store and they can’t get delivered until 2/15/17. So after hours (not exaggerating) of talking with store managers, the delivery company, and the manufacture, all with no empathy, we headed to Lowes. Lowes ended up being cheaper, with next day delivery. This is the second time Lowes has shown quicker delivery times and better customer service. Here’s the kicker: Canceling the order with Home Depot was an unprofessional experience, it was a car sales approach. No one knew how to cancel the order, it can’t be done on a weekend, has to be delivered first and then returned to the store, can’t be refunded without verification delivery was not made, every excuse with rolled eye attitude. After getting a store manager, and refusing to leave, we were finally refunded. We are taking Home Depot off our list of places to shop for appliances. The automated customer service response to negative reviews doesn’t correct the service at store level; it’s an attempt to neutralize the complaint to readers. Fix the problem before it gets to an aggravation point of provoking negative reviews.

If i could give zero star, I would.I know the people I dealt with, but I wouldnt drop names. Im not really into giving rate, but since the incident is too much for me to bear,I ought to.As parents we always think of the safety of our kids.So we (my husband and I) decided to have security door installed in our house.We went to homedepot and requested for a quote.For them to start anything,we have to pay 35usd to have our door measured correctly. Someone came to the house to measure our door, and finally quote us nearly 900usd for the security door.It was fine with us.We took homedepot card to get some discount. After two weeks, homedepot guy with the sec door came to the house to install it.He found out that the hole for the doorknob didnt match our door so he went back to homedepot to get a new door, then came back with the rightside doorknob hole .When he was about to install, he realized the door he brought was smaller than our door!!!How great was that. After 2 days, homedepot called me that we needed to choose new door style coz the ones they quoted us wasnt available. So I went there. The price went up, it was nearly 1400. I said, well cancel.I went to customer service to cancel the transaction. And they gave me a note that they cancelled it. Today, Ive received a bill for late payment. So I called the homedepot guy whom I made transanction with.I said, late payment for what??? We paid for measurement which was wrong, and then now charging us for late payment for something we never got. Tomorrow Ill go to homedepot and talk to the manager for the final battle...

Bad service! Go across the street to Lowes instead. I can overlook a bad experience but back to back bad experiences tells me rude Home Depot associates are the norm here. We encountered rude service when buying our items from Linda a cashier in the gardening department when we had to wait for another associate to get a code for the product we were buying when another customer didnt want to wait so asked if she could go first. We told the other customer no that we were in the middle of our transaction and Linda disregarded that and said she could do it. When the transaction completed we told Linda we did not appreciate that she would pass us over while in the middle of our transaction that we had to wait for the customer before us so the customer behind us should wait for us. Two days later I called this Home Depots in-store customer service to ask a question and Ernesta tells me that department where she would transfer me to ask the question doesnt have a working phone. I ask if I ask her or if shes going to transfer me somewhere else and she said "if its a short question, I have a customer who was in front of me first." I stated I was a customer too is she going to transfer me or not, she said she couldnt help me because of her customer in front of her but transferred me to a cashier - I was in the phone queue for 10 minutes without anyone picking up. This is from the Customer Service associate, this store sounds poorly mismanaged if they allow their associates to consistently be rude and not care to help out their customers.

Horrible costumer service. I went in to purchase a dishwasher. After having to walk around and find somebody to come help me I picked out the one I liked and set it up for delivery and install. It was set to be put in last Thursday, they sent in some people who barely spoke English and refused to translate what they said to us. They told me it couldnt be installed because I have a bad shut off valve, and left. I went under the sink and twisted it hand tight to shut off. I called up home depot and complained. They said they will send somebody back out monday to complete my install. At 7pm on monday I called home depot and spoke to a manager Micah. He said he the company they called is closed and he will call them at 7 am and get to me soon after. I still havent gotten a call and still havent gotten my install which naturally I payed for. In the mean time of all this I went to buy a garage door opener. Went back there after the associate (Rich) Stared at me. he sat down and ignored me. I picked one out, asked him if I could purchase it there. He told me no. Ok...where can I? he said I can up front. Ok...do I purchase install upfront also?? No...Ok...where do I purchase it then? Here he told me. Ok well then can we set that up? Sure... he asked me if one was already in place. I told him no and he informed me it would cost an extra $50. I asked him why? He said I dont know. Ok so your going to try and charge me for something extra and not no why? Well let me do some research. Good Idea!! worst experience ever!!!
