Paid off my 2005 Bonneville GXP I bought from Tinkham last August. This was the second car Ive bought from this place, I also bought a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT (very high mileage, they gouged me on that one! POS!!!!). Keith (a salesman) promised me up & down that theyd find me a fairly low mile (around 80,000 miles was what I was wanting it to be) 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 at a decent price. I guess they just want to buy high mileage vehicles and jack the price up to make as much as possible. Never heard a damn thing about the owner even trying to find me a G8, felt like I was getting the run around by Keith every time I called to see if theyve found anything. So I said to myself to hell with Tinkham, Ill find a G8 myself! And I did, within 2 weeks, in Murfreesboro, at Murfreesboro VW, Hyundai. And I got the car with around 86,000 miles on it, in great shape, for the same price as the seriously marked up 2005 Bonneville GXP I bought from Tinkham!!!!! And they stood behind the car, as the alternator went out about a week after I got the car, Murfreesboro VW, Hyundai replaced my high dollar (G8 specific) alternator FOR FREE, and they also put me in a BRAND NEW Chevrolet to drive till my car was fixed, also FREE OF CHARGE! Tinkham will NEVER stand behind the high mileage cars they sell! My advice to anybody interested in Tinkhams cars, have them checked out by a SAE certified mechanic before you sign anything!!

Im in the process of paying off my 2nd vehicle Ive bought from Tinkham Auto Sales (just over $500.00 to go). I can honestly say they are a very respectable company to deal with. Yes, Ive had to put about $3,000.00 in my 2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP (4 coil packs, 8 spark plugs, water pump, thermostat, 2 front struts, 2 front strut mounts, 2 front hub bearings, 4 new Firestone Indy 500 tires, and a - wheel alignment) but it is a USED car after all. It has 181,000 mikes now and runs and drives great. And all of the power accessories still work just fine. Cold A/C as well. They didnt know they had such a rare Pontiac hot rod on their lot (2,500 built), but I knew what it was, wanted it, and got it. Sharon, Jessica, and everybody there are very genuine people, and see to it that their customers come first, and are happy. Im looking forward to doing business with them again. Hey Sharon, since this GXP is about paid off, Ill be wanting a 2007-2009 Pontiac G8 GT, or a 2005-2006 GTO!!!!!!! Just a fyi!!! I have a trade in, thats in much better shape than when I put the down payment down on it!

They sly under handed people. They will charge you 5 grand over blue book for a car. And not put oil in it before settling it. They sold my wife a car and as soon as she drove off the lot check engine light cane in she brought it home instead of taking it back because she was assured by her father that they were good people. Upon inspecting the car when it got home it had nooooo oil in it and major problem we took back at our earliest convenience because of work the following week they told us it was not covered under warranty that she paid extra for and it was our problem. We ended up paying 7000 dollars for a car used for a week. Also her father has been a long time customer I just cant believe a licensed business would do there repeat customers bringing another generation of drivers to their business would sell them a lemon. They will swindle you if you want the proof I have the paper work. And I noticed tinkham you only respond to positive comments be an adult and address the dissatisfied customers as well I well give you my phone number or call.

Paid cash for a vehicle here, and while they were all too eager to take my money, they neglected to inform me on the "what happens next", with this being my first time purchasing a car with cash. I am one of those people who will always want a new car, (in fact, just bought another one recently), but will never do business here again. In a market where you can go anywhere to get a car, youd think they would be on their "A" game with customer satisfaction/resolutions. I was warned about this place prior to going to them, but I didnt listen. I will never do business there again, and I hope that this review will warn others. (Quality of cars are not that great either!!!!!!!) BUYERS BE WARNED!!

My husband and I have bought three cars from Tinkham. They have all been great buys and lasted for a very long time. The Tinkham team is also very easy to work with. From the time you step foot on the lot, they make you feel welcome. They dont rush you into buying something you might not want like other car dealerships do. If my husband and I ever decide to get another vehicle, we will be going right back to Tinkham.
