Do not buy a car from Automasters In Smyrna even if you pull a carfax it is not the correct info listed I found out after I bought a 2007 Mazda CX-7 in September 2015 Come to find out this car has a 3 motors put in it from Austomaster an I was never told until my manic seen the sticker on the motor an called the company who sold the motors to Automaster an they said yes they sold them 3 for the car that I bought an it was not even listed on the car fax when my manic gave them the VIN# they pulled up the info on the car an it said Automaster bought motors for the Mazada an two weeks after I got the oil changed in it wanting to get the car ready for my daughter for the winter months the turbocharger blew oil everywhere on the motor an was gushing out , Automaster had only less then a qt in the car so it would pass marta which it did an the business that changed my oil said it was less then a qt in it so it would pass Marta so once we had the oil change then the car was smoking bad oil going everywhere we where afraid the car was going to catch on fire so Automaster kept the oil below so it would pass so I guess they never thought I would have the oil checked so soon . I paid them cash for that car but got a loan from my credit union they where telling us to bring it in took look at it but once they found out we paid cash to them they did not want to have anything to do with us or the car so they have been turned in to the BBB by me also I paid $8k for this car now I have put over $8k into it with a new turbocharger / then a new starter an new spark plugs now all of this work that I paid for now the car want even move a piece of crap that they are selling these cars are being bought from Actions so they are buying crap an selling crap to people that are trying to get by with buying a car from these people an they are not any good , Like I said I pulled a car fax I always do an this one looked good but the info that needed to be on the car fax was not at all nothing about them putting in 3 motors take the car to a manic to look at before you sign any papers a lot of customers are having egine problems 2 weeks after they buy a car from them , we all need to try to get people to read our reviews , the owner lies a lot *******PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM YOU WILL BE SORRY CAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS ONLY SELLING BAD CARS TO GET OFF THEIR LOT!!!! POSTED 3/28/2016 Plus Gary sold the car to me also, he was nice , he was doing his job , but AutoMaster should had not even sold this car on their lot , Im sure he did not know the history of this car since it was not listed on the carfax . everything on it was a LIE!!!!!

THEY ARE ALL LIARS AND JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!! My girlfriend and I came there about 3 weeks ago to buy a car and we ended up getting a LEMON. We were desperate for a car and we let that Kenny Clark talk circles around us. That man does NOT shut up. The hood was messed up and the seat belt sensor would go off even when everyone was wearing a seat belt. We left the lot after signing a bunch of papers and when we test drove it, we couldnt really see the lights because it was daylight outside, so when we left, it was night and we had the lights on. They flickered really bad on the inside and outside. When you turn the brights on, ALL the lights would go out on the outside. We took it back the next day because of that problem and because of transmission problems that we were hearing. They said they ordered some thing for the brights and we drove off. We were headed out of state that night and we never made it out of Murfreesboro because the transmission kept messing up and all the lights were blinking so bad that the car was shutting on and off on the interstate. We pulled over and we were trying to see how bad it was and then the inside light kept blinking like a strobe light so I had a seizure. I had just went 9 months seizure free and that car made me have one. We took it back the next day and they said that they would fix it and they gave us a loaner car in the meantime. Kenny said when we first bought it that it had been sitting there for awhile, but Steve (the general manager) said they had just put it out there and hadnt gotten a chance to inspect it yet. Why would you try to sell a car that you havent even inspected yet? That car was dangerous. They fixed it and we took it back, but they fixed it fast so we were very cautious of it. Exactly 1 week later, all the problems came back. All they did was band-aid it. We dont have the car now because we took it back and left without a vehicle, but Id rather have no vehicle than to be in that one! Dont go here because all they want is your money. Id have to say that this is the WORST car lot Ive EVER been to. Stay away!!!!

I did not have a terrible experience like a lot of the other reviewers, but not a great one either. I have been driving the car I bought from these guys for almost a year and I just last week had to have the power steering fixed. The mechanic also found that the front axle has been damaged for some time, almost certainly before I bought it. But I knew going into Auto Masters that I was gonna get ripped-off a little. The only people that shop at these places are those whose past mistakes have damaged their credit to the point that they cannot get a traditional auto loan from a bank and pay normal interest rates. Im not preaching, I am one of those people. Auto Masters (and other "buy here pay here" dealerships) know this and since they specialize in taking bigger risks they expect bigger payoffs. Hence I will end up paying $19k for a car with a sticker price of $11k that was really only worth $10k. Compared to the alternatives, which for me was going without a car until I could manage scrimping together $1500 or $2000 in cash to buy a beater and drive it around for 6 months until it needed major repair that I cant afford, this option seemed the best. As for the staff, they have always been professional and willing. Unlike a lot of businesses, they dont complain or charge me extra when I call them and do a credit card by phone every month. The salesman was responsible enough to not sell me something I couldnt afford, but showed me several in my price range and let me take my pick. When the battery had problems 2 days after purchase, I called him and he immediately arranged for a free replacement at the local AutoZone no questions asked, all I had to do was show up. The car is not the best value, the interest rate is definitely high, but what can you expect? This is the price I pay now for my mistakes in the past. At least its helping to slowly heal those bad scores.
