My wife and I have been with drive time for 5 years. They tell you that if you pay down your loan to under 4500 dollars that you qualify for the "champ" program. They tell you on the phone that they will forgive the rest of your loan and will put you in a better car. I called and talked to three different people to verify the program before my wife and I drove an hour from Clarksville TN to the dealer ship. We get there and were congratulated for being in the champ program. Here is the crazy part. They only forgive 1500 of you loan and then subtract the value of the car ( after 5 years of having a high mileage car its not worth much according to them )and you have to pay the rest. What kind of program is this? All of the cars they sale will have negative equity when you leave the lot and not to mention that it takes at least five years of making payments on time to even qualify for the champ program. So they wanted 2000 from us to pay the rest of the loan off and then a down payment for a new car. That is crazy. They are sneaky by not telling people this upfront. We would not have driven a hour to the dearship if we would have know first. The Champ program is a complete joke. Dont fall for it. They should have a better program for folks. I dont know why we were congratulated for a program that is complete useless. They just wanted us in the dearship in person to try to con more money from us. No thank you. We can just pay our notes on time like we do and pay it off.

Update*** today is day 3 with my new car and my family and I LOVE it! The experience with the people at drivetime was wonderful! We got a car through Quentin a year ago and hes awesome!! Totally 5 star guy! So the second car, I had gone in on Tuesday to pick it out and it happened to be one in Gallatin and they were willing to go get it for me. I was over the moon! Came in that following Friday to find out it was sold so I was back to the drawing board. This time I sat down with Justin for nearly an hour looking at cars on the computer and he was so patient with me. He wanted to make sure I got a car I was in love with, no matter how long it took. He was even letting me look at cars in Chattanooga and Huntsville because I was indecisive. I settled and went out to the lot in antioch to look at a blue for escape that I wasnt completely sold on but needed to make progress and two cars down, I found the one! They moved heaven and earth to make sure I could have this car and without completely breaking the bank. Once everything was settled, I sat down with Bill to do my contract. He was a newly promoted manager but swore he had been doing it for years. He was thorough and made sure I understood every bit of my contract and answered all of my questions. We will definately be back for more cars. They are awesome people and an awesome place!!!

So I wrote a review because they wanted me to rave about drive time and I am NOW writing another one. I am NOT happy with drive time AT ALL they have sold me a VERY messed up car. I came to them because my truck had broke down and now I have gone from one messed up vehicle to another. I have been having issues with the car that I received from them since day 1 of having it. I tried to talk to them and return it and they gave me the run around. The managers that I talked to were very rude and told me that I couldnt turn this vehicle back into them or I would have a repossesion and they would garnish my wages AFTER THE FACT THAT I HAVE RETURNED IT!!! I HAVE JUST NOW had this vehicle for 3 weeks and it has been to the shop 4 times and it is STILL MESSED UP. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I was told that this is the WORST COMPANY TO GET A VEHICLE FROM AND I AGREE. THEY PREY ON PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF A CAR AND THEY WILL TAKE YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE. THIS IS A WARNING, DO NOT GET A CAR FROM DRIVE TIME.... THEY WILL SCREW YOU!!!

Staff in store is awesome. But I had a little issue with the corporate office total loss. We had purchased an awesome 2006 Town and country minivan years ago, and got in an accident. If it was OUR fault, we would have been able to walk out with a car the day it was declared totaled, but since it was not our fault and had to go through a 3rd party insurance, we had to go 4 days without a car while waiting for the insurance check to clear. Still, the staff at the Antioch location, particularly Bryan and Quentin were SPECTACULAR! They helped us check every single car within 250 miles that would fit our needs, we got to testdrive and compare prices specs, etc during our wait! They even called to let us know when a car we were interested in showed up for a testdrive even tho we couldnt by that day! Really, if it wasnt for the staff on location, and all we had to see them was the call center total loss department, we wouldnt bother with DT, but the service totally makes all the difference in the world. We knew we were #1 from day one.

I had a positive experience at this dealership. I was on a look-out for a hybrid car and I searched first on their website. I found the car that I liked and I followed it for several weeks until I had some time to see the car. I then pulled my own carfax report to make sure that the car was not involved in any accident They do provide a report at the dealership but not from carfax and it pretty much showed the same thing. I came in the second time and this time I was helped by Sean Alexander, I have not met a sales associate quite like him, he is honest and went above and beyond so look for him if you are at this dealership. I suggest, do your homework first, search online and pull a carfax report before you set into the dealership. Please be aware that they do not service their vehicles so when I brought my car to my trusty mechanic, the transmission fluid was dirty along with other issues, total coast $400 hence minus one star for them. I had my mechanic do a thorough inspection of my car after the purchase.

This is THE absolute WORST car buying experience Ive had!!! I just paid off my Ford after putting $2200 down, and having them direct debit my checking account for 4 years!! After paying off my car at the beginning of this month, they had the nerve to take another payment out of my account AFTER they had already sent me the title!!! This company is worse than AT&T, and I absolutely despise them!! They have the nerve to tell me after taking money out of my account FOR NO REASON, that they will send me a check in 7-10 days. After talking to 5 people, I FINALLY got an insincere apology from someone in charge. This company makes their money by preying on people in bad situations, and Id rather go through Santander for the rest of my life than give this company one more ounce of business!1 Bridgecrest, drivetime, whatever other name they go by, crooks, and they deserve to be put out of business!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!!!!
