I was perusing the store when I stumbled upon the clearance section. I found a couple of wicker bar stools that I thought my girlfriend would like. I sent her a picture by phone, she asked me to put them on hold until I could pick her up and then come back to pay for them in cash. I took the stools to the customer service desk and asked the employee to hold them. The manager heard me ask and then said "we can not hold clearance items." I asked why and she responded " Target does not hold clearance items because its not fair to the other customers." I could not believe my ears, I mean it makes no logical sense, how exactly is it not fair to the other customers? My girlfriend and I would have been back within 25 minutes to pay for them in cash. The manager still would not hold them not even for a minute. I was so frustrated! I knew that if I left by the time we got back they would be gone. I would have paid for them myself but I had let my wallet at home. I know the employees were just doing there jobs, but the policy is absolutely ridiculous! Thanks Target, the stools were gone when we got back! I can not wait to see on the headlines: Target Going Out Of Business! What could I expect out of a company that does not allow the Marine Corps to gather donated toys for needy children during Christmas!

I had no idea that CVS has pharmacies inside the Target Stores! Interestingly enough, I do not like CVS Pharmacy at Wayne Avenue (and I think theres another location in Chambersburg). But I have mostly been very pleased with this pharmacy, and with the exception of one prescription, I now have all our prescriptions here. I shop Target regularly for non-perishable groceries, personal care and health care products. Its convenient for me, I can shop and pick up my Starbucks while they get my order ready. Ive found everyone to be friendly and helpful here, and there usually isnt a long line like you experience at Walmart. My insurance information stays in their computer system so I dont have to present my information every single time Im there (i.e. Walmart). I love that they automatically refill my refillable scripts and leave an automated phone message for me to pick up. I still use Norland Pharmacy for a compound script that I use, and another script because (this is my only complaint and reason for 4 versus 5 stars) they are ALWAYS out of it and it takes days for it to come in (an opioid). Its just easier to get it at Norland. Otherwise, I highly recommend CVS in Target - no added stop necessary and its an all in one trip for me!
