This location in particular has undergone a renovation within the the last year and its very much improved compared to its previous state. The quality of the build out is on par with that of the Valley, Fontana location, but in a smaller, slightly more crowded building. A very well stocked, organized, clean hispanic super market with bakery and full deli services. Prices are very reasonable, the produce is of a very good to high quality. It would be great to have more organic produce available, but at least what is available is of a high quality, so thats a plus. The bakery produces Mexican sweet bread and an assortment of cakes and desserts daily. The deli freshly prepares decent quality carnitas, chicharrón, an assortment of Mexican comfort food and tortillas daily. This chain has been around for many years and has A very well stocked, organized, clean hispanic super market with bakery and full deli services. We ordered a cake, we gave them 2 reference pictures, and the cake was NOTHING like the photo. Omg so so disapointed...how they thought the finished product looked anything like the pictures is shocking, the lettering looked like a year old did it. It was for my sister 50th birthday....this was truly a horrible looking cake...and expensive to boot. All we can hope is that it taste good...lets pray. ...all we got was oh we are sorry. Huh.....they couldnt see or even say prior to us picking it up..was Omg lets fix this.. OK well the cake was aweful!!!!! So much for lets hope it at least taste good.........nope dry as a bone, the Banana filling was missing. ...how can they charge so much money for a horrible product.. NEVER AGAIN.... I could have baked a better cake out of a box, and let a preschooler decorate it and it would have been better....

I used to shop here more than twice a week sometimes. I will NEVER shop here again. I noticed that I was overcharged on an item I bought. When I told the manager what happened she told the cashier I just wanted to pay a cheaper price. When I tried to explain what happened she cut me off and said " Were going to give you the money!". I was so mad. She treated me like a thief in front of everyone and didnt give me a chance to say anything! Ill be shopping anywhere but here!

So i came to get some water outside Cardenas, security decides to call police & a chopper, said that i was asking people for extra change. So the helicopter follows me all the way home until two patrols arrive & interrogate.i feel discriminated & security was racist didnt have anything else to do,but ruin someones day.. unbelievable

I would have given 5 stars, but every time I go in, I always been overcharged on at least one item (Ive never paid less than what the shelf tag said, always more!) Their label price accuracy is horrible in the Citrus Heights/Fontana location. Fix shelf tag price accuracy issues and Ill give 5 stars!
