I had terrible experience at this market place. We were shopping with my grand parents. By the time I was at the register, we found out that we forgot to put the fruits inside the small plastic bags. (Plastic bags from vegitable/fruit section) So my grand parents began to put fruits inside the plastic bags. Then one of staff came and FORCEFULLY took these plastic bags away and YELLED at us that we cant use it. We were aware of plastic bags are ban here in california. But those small plastic bags are there for reason, like to put fruits and vegetables. They put plastic bags in the store. And they take away at the end? What the heck? After said the reasons, the staff just silently walked away with plastic bags. WOW. Well that wasnt my real point actually. The real problem is the disrespectful staff that forcefully took the plastic bag away from my grand parents. She was super disrespectful to my grand parents. Couldnt she kindly ask that we cant use these plastic bags? Instead of forcing and yelling? What kind of staff like this can get hired? Manager need to do some training to these immature staffs, or fire them. This is ridiculous. Im never coming back to this market.

i only go here when the special are out. if theres no specials i dont bother going because why pay for something thats $10 here when you can buy for $5 across the street at food4less? they have a big parking lot. theres a security guard that ALWAYS follows you around. their bathrooms are always locked and they are always dirty or broken down. its been 2 years since they removed a toilet from one of the stalls and the drain hole is still out. the smell of dtain water comes out. the doors of the stalls dont lock propertly.

Im not sure if this place is still called El Valle Supermarket because Ive only heard it referred by a Vietnamese name. Overall, a really nice market with no natural lighting but at least the produce and meat is good. They also have a fast food shop where you can pick up typical dim sum food to go.

It seems like a Korean supermarket. I hang out in a lot of Korean supermarket in los Angeles and this one was better than I thought it would be.
