Ive been to the 99 Ranch Market in Gardena and Daly City (NorCal) and this is by far the smallest branch one Ive walked into. Its also disorganized. Stopped by after having an early dinner at Hotpot Hotpot nearby. Parking is difficult. My friend had a handicapped parking placard so we parked at the entrance facing the street thinking parking would be a breeze, but after we finished shopping, we discovered that the street entrance was locked (before 8pm) and so we had to exit the back way and walk back to the car at the street entrance handicapped slot. My take home shopping trophy of the night was a 28 cm Stainless Steel Yin Yang Style Hot Pot with Partition/Divider (now I can make hot pot with 2 different broths at home!). I had been looking for this online, but didnt want to shell out $25 to $40 on Amazon. Total score at $12.99 for the 2 soup yin/yang hot pot like the one I just saw at the Hot Pot Hot Pot restaurant that evening.

I like shopping here, since its away from the other 99 ranch market which is super busy. Today I made a special stop here because I wanted to buy some UDON and Ramen. Great prices. 2/$1.30 for udon and 2/$1.40 for Ramen. Not your dry udon or ramen. these are freshly packed in a clear packaging. They are freshly made and ready to boil in a pan with boiling water. But, this 99 ranch is nice. Its not that busy, but its definitely a bit old. However, the selection here is always interesting. There are things here that you cant find at other 99 ranch markets. Each one is unique in their own. The customer service is not bad either.

Dont like this 99 Ranch, small and price are higher than other location for some reason. Only reason would to come here if you happens to go to Dim Sum next door or dine nearby. This place need a remodel, it felt second tier compare to most other newer 99 Ranch. Theres no fast food take out like other location offer.

Helpful staff in a well-stocked Asian American market. Plenty of fresh produce and meats. Busiest on weekends, but still manageable with some patience (Parking is especially tough.). Lacks a fresh bakery and hot deli section unlike its sister store in San Gabriel, but not much else to complain about. :D

Good selection of Asian grocery products, with a full butcher and finshmonger. However, its not the cleanest of stores and they dont have many of the high end products you might need for cooking. Great prices but some of the produce may not be as fresh as desired despite the high volume of sales.

This market is a part of 99 Ranch chain. At times, the parking space is limited. The product assortment is wide but the interior space is very limited so navigate along the aisles carefully. The market can use sometime to clean up the interior a bit. Its not clean enough to me.

Smaller, older 99 Ranch location. Great selection of fruit & produce, including items like mangosteen you cant find at Vons. And unlike most "Western" markets like Vons, there is an actual butcher to cut or grind your meat to you liking.

This chain is great. Pretty much everything you need grocerywise, grouped pan Asianatically. Tasty deli. Worth just a wander through even if youre not shopping. A Disneyland for those who enjoy other cultures grocery stores.
