I have to say that the people who all work there are very nice. Thats what makes me sad with writing this review... But I am only writing this review because no one returned my phone call when I told them I was very disappointed in what had happened. To make a long story short, I bought a Rolex watch from them for a Christmas gift for my wife. What a surprise.... The sad thing about it was it simply was not keeping time. I made mention of it and they said they would take a look at it.... They did and had it for 2 weeks. Said it was now fine. Well, once again, it did not keep time. I brought it in again and they showed me a different watch that was about $3,500 more expensive with the trade, but I bought it any way. Well, sadley this watch did not keep time as well. I made mention of it to Gregg at the store so he was aware of it.. he also was aware that I could not bring it in right away because the wife had it in New Jersey. Well, we finally brought it in because the Crystal was broken... I was told that the Crystal would be about $175.00 to replace...As for the watch not keeping time, I was told several times that that should be warranty. I was told that the watch finally came back from repair 2 months later and that it appeared that I didnt owe anything except the crystal repair Well without speaking with me first, they charged my card over $630.00 and lied to me about the warranty and will not return my call Very sad and disappointed and they now lost all my future business Part two: I did receive a call from Greg offering me a discount / credit to my card. I was told in a voicemail that they store was under the impression that the watch broke when it fell and cracked the crystal.... And now the store knows that the watch was not keeping time for at least 6 months to a year... I had made mentioned of it, but could not bring it in, being that it was in New Jersey.... and this was my second experience with this problem being that the first Rolex I purchased from them had the same problem. I was beginning to think that maybe the Rolex is made to look good, but not work good.....lol...... That being said, Greg mentioned that all I have to do is call the store for my credit... Well, thank you for that, but I feel I do not have to call the store and feel like I have to beg for my credit. I also feel that the store should of def had known of the watch not keeping time because I had made mention of it a few times to Greg and even talked about buying a watch winder thinking that could take care of the problem. I appreciate the fact that they want to credit my card, but simply just do it.... I dont need to make a phone call and hear how the store did not know about the watch not keeping time. That will only offend me knowing that they most certainly knew..... But, to end this drama, I at least appeciate there calling me to make good on this. I will give credit where credit is due.

This is the kind of retail establishment you want to avoid at all costs.. Forgetting that their clientele is, and always will be lower/middle-middle class,prices on mass low-end "quasi-jewelery"(think 1 step above Kohls) and services are inflated enough to make anyone seriously thinking of doing business with them,shop around. Smarmy, condesending sales clerks, with more attitute than polish or finesse insist they are "Jewelry experts and bristle at the thought that someone might look upon them as salespeople.(how pretentious).Do not purchase or agree to have any work done unless in writing. (I suggest you have it signed by the owner ) They are known for not honoring agrrements unless in writing! This "jeweler is a "cliche" who is attempting to play in the "big leagues", but stiill holds onto a bush league mentality.

Powers has excellent service and beautiful diamonds. I am so in love with my ring. Tim worked with my husband to make a custom design. He made sure that is was perfect. He was able to have a wax molding made for us so that we could really be confident in the design. He was so patient with us as we were very specific. My then fiancé later went back to surprise me with a wedding band and he did a great job keeping it all under wraps. I recently had my favorite Oscar de la renta necklace break. Tim had is replaced promptly. I was in such a hurry when I picked it up he brought it out to my car! I dont know where else you could find service like this. My husband and I will always come here for our future jewelry. We will also continue to work with Tim. Thank you!!

I went to Powers Downtown Milwaukee Jewelry store expecting prices I didn’t want to pay for jewelry I can buy anywhere and pushy sales people. What I found was a friendly staff who showed unique jewelry including a platinum, sapphire and diamond ring that my wife LOVES. They fixed my Tag watch band that was driving me nuts catching on everything in a day for next to nothing and I have been back to buy jewelry twice since my first visit less than a year ago. For Christmas my wife got a Tiffany chain link ring from our two month old daughter (VERY COOL) and an antique diamond ring from our two sons. I could not more highly recommend a jeweler or a jewelry repair center. Nice people, great service and great prices!!!

This place is AMAZING! They go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. They are especially trustworthy. We have bought multiple pieces here and have sent our friends here as well. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to go here. The customer service is unbeatable and we love how they really try to find something you love within your budget. We went here after getting ripped off at another jewelry store and we were very hesitant to buy anything. However, after spending a few minutes in powers they really made us feel safe and we fully trusted them with our decision! Go here to get your jeweler because they are outta this world amazing!

I purchased a watch online and needed the band shortened. I called Powers and asked if they could do it on the spot. The friendly associate told me they could provided they were not too busy when I arrived. I got to the store about twenty minutes later and sat at the counter. Within thirty seconds a woman arrived and recognized my watch box, knowing that I had called minutes earlier. She put the watch on my wrist, estimated that two links should be removed, and had them out in about one minute. The watch fit perfectly and she charged me two bucks. Two dollars! Friendly atmosphere, skilled staff...A+

I bought an engagement ring at Powers Jewelry and it was a great experience! I worked with Lorry who is very helpful and never made me feel pressured to buy quickly or even at their store. She helped me out choosing the right diamond and the right ring band which can be a daunting decision. When the ring was being made, Lorry kept me up-to-date which was very nice. I went to a few other stores and none compared to the help and customer service I received at Powers Jewelry.
