I went to Cutthroat last night to get a microdermal piercing on the back of my neck. The shop itself was small and nice. The piercer took me to the back and began the process. He did a fine job of explaining the process and aftercare. The piercing itself was very painful, as the jewerly had to be removed and re-inserted about 4 times. When I got home I noticed it was a little crooked (I could see the bar sticking out). The next morning I squirted saline on the piercing and went to place a band-aid over it-->the piercing completely fell out. I walked back over to the shop and found a different piercer working. He assured me he has done a million of them and it woutdnt hurt too bad. He tried to re-insert the jewelry 2 times with no luck (and it did hurt a bit). He ended up telling me the hole was just too big and the jewelry wouldnt stay in. He gave me the option of waiting a few weeks for it to heal, then getting it redone OR getting it done someplace else. I decided to just get it done on my hip near a tattoo. He assured me once again that he would do a good job and it wouldnt stick out at all. It has only been a few hours, but it looks great now. It seems to be placed deep and you cant see the bar. Im a little bummed the one on my neck didnt work out, but I am happy with the other spot. I cant say I have a ton of experience with tattoo/piercing shops, but the man who did my second microdermal on my hip was very nice and knowledgeable. Overall, I would say its a pretty decent place.

Went to Cutthroat in 2009 to get a small quote on my ribs, I requested that the ink be dark grey so my artist mixed it himself thinking that one well of ink was enough. Needless to say, one well was not enough so my two sentence quote is two different colors. For a two sentence quote, it was over $100, and my artist requested that I go topless. I would have, except the fact that the tattoo was done basically in the lobby with no privacy. So instead I sat uncomfortably covering myself. I felt like I was pestering them for such a small, simple tattoo and my artist made me feel like I was wasting his time. The reason why Im writing this so late..? I just went to Blue Lotus in Madison to get this tattoo fixed and am now in love with it. If you want your tattoo done right the first time, do not go to Cutthroat. I wish I would have waited the first time and gone to Blue Lotus instead.

These guys were the nicest tattoo artists I have EVER talked to. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. The shop is well maintained and clean with some awesome art on the walls. I came in with a difficult piece and they were able to do it that day and it looks amazing!! Im very happy with the work Matt did and my friends are going to come back to get work done. Driving from Chicago in the rain was totally worth it for the quality and the price. Thanks guys!

I absolutely love Cutthroat. I got microdermals in my neck, my lower navel, and a rook piercing done by Jeff. He was very professional, and very pleasant to work with. They didnt make me feel akward, as other tattoo shops have in the past. Everything was very clean, and very professional. I will definitely be coming back here if i ever want more piercings or when I finally get my tattoo. =]

I have gotten 4 smallish tatts and clean up of one that I didnt like. Steve was my man and he did a great job. I dont know if it is because I am older (46) or because I come in with what I want and dont give enough artistic leaway...but I kind of get the cold shoulder. I tip well and am personable. Im a good customer but I dont feel appreciated.

So glad I went here! The holes in my ears almost closed up and I just wanted 16 gage posts that wouldnt irritate my ears. They were so courteous and professional and did not treat my situation as trivial. They put in 16 Gage 316LVM barbells for free. I would recommend this place over some ear piercing place in the mall anyway!

I contacted Harry (Co-Owner) at Cutthroat to do a heavy metal album cover inspired tattoo that covered half of my arm. Not only did his drawing exceed my expectation, but his actual work is AMAZING. His color and shading are next to none. Go and visit Harry for all of your tattoo work. Hes the best.

Im more than happy with my artwork being done at Cutthroat Tattoo On Brady and Farwell. The shop is clean and the artists are dedicated and seeping with talent. The care taken is beyond words. If youre getting a tattoo or piercing and in the milwaukee area go to cutthroat, you wont be disappointed.

This shop is THE cleanest shop in Milwaukee. The owner as well as the rest of the artists know their stuff when it comes to piercings and tattoos. These artists are some of the most talented that Ive seen in the state and would not recommend that anyone go anywhere OTHER than cutthroat.

I was really surprised at how clean it was! The shop was very open and Jeff, the piercer was ready to take me in. They are licensed professional who were patient with me and responded to my many many questions. I would recommend this place and will go back to get a tattoo.

Im a new yorker so i have high expectations of tattoo parlors and i must say my experience at cutthroat was great!!! I felted very at ease. Matt (my tattoo artist) was really nice and did a great job!!! He made a tattoo on the ribcage as easy as it could have been!!!
