Schoepp Motors Fixed a large/expensive problem that my vehicle was having although the check engine light went on a week after I got it back. I took it in and they explained that its something completely different that is now broken, although they fixed it for free. This could go two ways, a- they understand that we paid a great amount a week prior to fix something on this vehicle and they wanted to fix it for free out of the kindness of their hearts, or b- it really had something to do with what was done a week ago and figured we wouldnt know the difference. I am not sure the answer to that question, so it is what it is. A few weeks later I start to hear the same clicking noise which brought me into their shop to begin with. After the noise was loud enough to know it wasnt normal I called in. They insisted, over the phone, that it wasnt the same noise with out even hearing it. Once I brought it in, they couldnt hear it until I asked to have a tech drive with me. At this time he hears it and tells me that its not a normal sound. The next day we receive a phone call from them saying that nothing is wrong and this unusual sound is normal. What frustrated me the most is, I know how my vehicle sounds, and this noise that is getting louder each day isnt normal. I understand that the mechanics may not know whats wrong with the vehicle, although then explain that they can not find anything, or they do not know. By them insisting that this is normal makes me wonder if they are covering up a mistake they made last month when fixing the same clicking noise problem or if they just want to get this vehicle out and deal with their next customer. I really hope this normal problem isnt something major, and hopefully the next shop I take it to can be more helpful.

This is the most disgusting company I have ever experienced. Honestly I am not exactly mechanically inclined. But I purchased a truck from this company a few months back and they screwed me. There was some rust on the doors and I requested that to be taken care of and then Id be okay with buying it. They said they went ahead and sand blasted it and refined it and painted it. But in all reality all they did was break the rust off and SPRAY PAINT it. 3 weeks after I got it the automatic locks stopped working, the rear passenger side door is ajar, the speakers are majorly cutting out(drivers side door speaker doesnt work at all), they covered rust in every singe wheel well with tape and spray paint. And to get my truck bed bars to stay all they did was hammer and bend the thread in. Their exact words on selling me this truck "I hope you realize on how big of a favor we are doing for you right now" only because i paid my down payment in two payments. Ended up not exactly needing a truck because of where I was living and the occupation I landed so I went to go ahead and sell it. Come to the Kelly blue book and the truck was only worth $13,000. They had it "discounted" from $23k to $20k. I understand that they need to make money but how in the world does a company get away with screwing over a 21 year college kid trying to start his life?? Went to trade the truck in and the dealer I went to literally refused it because it came from Schoepp motors. (Wont be naming them) but if that doesnt say something I dont know what will. Please people avoid this company. They will screw your over on every single penny they can!

Since 2002, three Cars, $60,000 (price, interest, warranties.) haggled last time over price/finances. paid asking price for first two. advise looking for your own financing if you can swing it. 1st car-1997 Pontiac Grand Am. intake manifold problem diagnosed up the street at Jenks, Schoepp covered with extended warranty, Schoepp motors was generous with services to reduce deductible to nothing. 2nd car-2003 Pontiac Grand Am. dealer charged but failed to renew plates causing suspension which complicated deployment to Iraq. power window failure caused partner to raise objections. she sought help elsewhere. again and again. still runs. 3rd car-2008 Chev HHR. brakes failed weeks after purchase. service personnel balked. partner replied, failure rests with safety inspection and reminded them of our loyalty. no problem. steering unit software failed. covered with extended warranty. but only on second failure when we drove in with failed status. wiper linkage failed. covered with extended warranty including loaner. but upon second failure within month, extended warranty refused to cover repairs!!! in conclusion, Schoepp Motors advertises, the new car alternative. while i write at length about Schoepp Motors failures i could have written volumes about 30 years of terrible service by the Big-Three new car dealers in Madison. in fact i went an additional ten years without a car because repair service in Madison failed miserably.

This was my first time buying a car from any dealership. I found the salesperson who sold me my car (Josh) very knowledgeable and very sincere in what he was saying. He also explained the ins and outs about the car I was interested in and didnt leave anything out. I didnt catch the managers name but he was very helpful and demonstrated top notch customer service. He took the time to talk with my dad about how much he loved his car even though we had no interest in trading it in. They even took off almost $1,000 on what the car was listed for originally. I would highly recommend that you pay Schoepp Motors East a visit and ask for Josh. From my experience with him, he is a no pressure salesperson who is looking to do right by the consumer. If I need a car in the future I will be going back there and asking for Josh.

Sales People AWESOME, but poor customer service at autoshop. I have purchased 2 cars at Schoepp and have had great and smooth purchase transactions of which I give 5 stars. However their service autoshop is not the greatest with customer service. They take forever for a simple oil change and dont follow up to tell you when your car is done further more staff seem to have an attitude and are rude. When I arrived and told them I had already had my car seen somewhere else and what the problem seemed to be I received a raised eyebrow and "I dont care what the other mechanic said..." now I understand its protocol for them to review whats wrong with the car but he certainly didnt have to answer me that way. Overall I would continue to purchase cars from their but definitely would avoid ever going to the shop. Id rather

NO INTEGRITY, VERY DISHONEST. I went to Schoepp looking for a vehicle with AWD so it would handle well driving in the snow. I worked with Nick and he sold me an Audi that he informed me was AWD. 8 months later my tire on my front passenger side blew and I took it in for repair to the certified Audi service center and found out it was only front wheel drive and not AWD. I was very upset that I was lied to just so they could sell a car and make a buck. I went back in and spoke to manager, Nathan Delmore whom told me he could help find me another vehicle that did indeed have AWD. That was 5 months ago and I never heard from him again. There was no apology or follow up from Nick or Nathan. It is extremely upsetting and a very disappointing car buyer experience. DONT BUY FROM SCHOEPP!
