Now that I have received congratulation notices for a car I did not receive; although I tried hard to let this go, I cannot help myself. I paid cash for an RX350 that was to be shipped from VA. I called back the next week to verify the ETA since I was told it takes 3 days or so for it to be processes. By this time the check had already cleared my bank. The sales person was out but told me he check when he returned to the office. I receive a call a couple of days later stating that the car was not shipped. When the truck arrived, it was informed that the car had been sold in VA. The salesperson apologized and said we will find you another car. I promptly said hell no, cut my check. You cant hold my money. He said all they needed was the proof that the money was withdrawn from my bank. I asked if the image (front/back) of the processed check would suffice. I brought that into the office and he said that I would have to wait until Monday for my check. I went off at this point. The GSM comes over to tell me that it wasnt their fault it was the other Dealerships fault. (Mistake #1, I gave AutoNation Wolfchase my money and they did not secure my car). Then he tells me that they are not trying to keep my money (Mistake #2, I did what they asked and my check is not ready). The GSM tells me that he will take care of it first thing Monday morning. I contacted the salesperson at 2pm on Monday to verify my check is ready. He checks and tells me that the Comptroller now needs additional documentation from my bank (Mistake #3, they hadnt worked anything with the comptroller until I called or didnt care enough to let me know. Imagine had I shown up to get my check and then told this!). By this time its best that I not even go to the lot anymore. So after they tried to explain what they needed from my Bank. I said to forget it and asked when is the 10 days up and you can just cut the check (its already 7 business days). The fewer times I have to talk to them the better. I was told Monday. I called back the Friday before, to verify timing. He then texts me back that it is ready. (You would think they would call as soon as the check was available). Here is the punchline. This was a birthday present for my wife. Because they did not secure the car, it did not arrive. They tied up my cash for 2 weeks, so I could not purchase another car. The second choice for the RX350 was sold before they returned my money. Needless to say I am not a happy camper. I am astonished at the incompetence, poor customer service and lack of urgency to fix their mistake. Unbelievable!

My wife and I needed to buy a car, on a budget with a personal check, and neither of us was looking forward to the usual high pressure dealership experience. We were so much dreading the experience that it had been put off for months. After looking online, we decided a ford fiesta sounded good for us, particularly because of a $1500 cash back bonus. We decided to try a dealership out and see if we liked it in person. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly salesman. He asked us what we were interested in, and he listened very well. We were debating between a hatchback and sedan model. We were first shown a basic Hatchback model. After a few querying questions, it became clear we were looking for something basic, so the the basic models are what he showed us! We got to leisurely look and try out the options on the two models, then test drive both. Between test drives, while he was getting the next vehicle, we had plenty of time to discuss, in private, our impressions. After the 2nd test drive, we decided we might like to talk numbers. We went to his cubicle and he printed out the information, and pricing, for both models. There were a few added options that he informed us werent necessary and could be scratched off the price list. Then he left his office to let us discuss the two options until (many minutes later), we decided upon the sedan. When it turned out the $1500 cash back (already listed in the price) included $500 only usable when going though ford credit, we thought the usual dealership tricks would now come out, but they didnt. He went out to check on the details of the cash back offer, and came back saying the manager would give it to us anyway! Even the finance office personnel didnt try to pressure us into extra warranty options we didnt want, and when we were having trouble getting the proof of insurance, our sales representative let us use his computer to sort out the details. He even texted me the next day to ask if everything was alright, with personal touches that showed he remembered (or at least had recorded) the small chat conversations we had had. We were very impressed by how low pressure, friendly, and helpful our sales representative was. Not only was the experience pleasant, but our sales representative did his utmost to find the right auto for us, listening and responding to our needs. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

This review is late as I bought my car from AutoNation Wolfchase about a year ago, however, after another car buying experience that was horrendous, I thought I should express my appreciation for a dealership that cares about their customers. I purchased a Ford Focus from AutoNation and my salesperson really took the time to show me all the new gadgets and how they worked, allowed me to drive around as long as I wanted, stopped at a gas station to pump the gas for me so I had a full tank to leave with, gave me a loaner car to go get lunch since the paperwork was taking a little longer than usual, and most importantly, didnt haggle price with me. He was straight up and honored the True Car price that was advertised. I even called the night before and he reserved the car for me so that when I came to the dealership we were ready to go. The finance personnel I had was also wonderful. Recently, I experienced the horror of getting ripped off by my most current finance person and wanted to thank my finance personnel at AutoNation for being so straight forward and honest. Did he try to sell me extra packages and warranties? Of course, but that is his job. However, when I declined a package, he didnt push me. He just said okay and moved onto the next. After the process was complete, he reviewed all the paperwork with me so I fully understood what I was getting into. I definitely left the dealership feeling happy with an awesome new car, which is still running fantastic. AutoNation Ford continued to follow up with me a couple of times in the months after I purchased the car to ensure I still liked it and was happy with my purchase! What great people. I also used their service department until I moved to Virginia and was on Smileys team. Service never gave me a problem. Always let me drop off my car whenever I wanted and had it ready before they said it would be. I wish every car dealership could be like you guys! Please relocate to Virginia!
