I would like to begin by saying I am an ex employee of savers. After reading the below reviews feel they are too harsh. While there is some truth to the statements made Savers does not recieve donations. Savers is a for profit company that deals in the sale of re-sale items. All donations are made to Savers non-profit partner. This particular location works with Easter Seals. All donations made, even those on site, are made to that non-profit parter and Savers pays the partner by the pound for goods recieved. The merchandise in the store IS NOT donated it was all purchased and paid for. While some items do carry a higher price it is because Savers wants to discourage resale of its items so it can deliver a more full selection with more name brand items to the average shopper than its competitors. Often I have found though that avid thrift shoppers are not used to this and do not like this distinctive difference since many competitors have blanket priced items where Hollister and Wal-Mart shirts are valued the same. People new or newer to thrifting seem to prefer it because they have an easier time finding the name brand merchandise they want at still discounted prices. To surmise I feel that it is better to atleast stop in and look around to decide what sort of thrifting experience you prefer! I will say that in my personal experience with the company they do their best to be fair to all sorts of shoppers and want to have an impact on the communities they are in. Savers has a commitment to recycling and to serving their non-profit partners and overall they do their best to do what is right for the communities they serve!

Bllleccchhh!!! I have been here a few times but this one will be my last. I was APPALLED at the prices. Theyve gone up in the past few years and for used, old clothing, you at least gotta have REASONABLE PRICES. Selection is like a white trash garage sale circa 1997. Didnt find a single thing I liked after an hour of looking. DIRTY!! Yuck!! Smells like dusty poo and furniture and bathroom were FILTHY. and just YUCK. It surely doesnt help when all three of the staff members are huddled by the registers joking the whole time, mind you, it was NOT busy... TINY, unkempt dressing rooms. Really? How are you going to sell your overpriced garbage if people cant hardly try them on? GREEDY CORPORATE INSTITUTION. Donating to this place is a poor, thoughtless decision. Take your items to ANYWHERE ELSE and at least they will benefit charitable organizations who actually do some good in the world. (St Vinnies or Agrace- keepin it local!!) Im sorry Savers, but you are a DISGRACE TO THRIFT STORES EVERYWHERE.

Everyone who thinks that Savers doesnt sell donated items has obviously never shopped there. There are multiple donation stations outside and inside the Zeier Road store and most of the merchandise on the shelves are typical of what youd find at an East Side garage sale. My mother and I have been shopping there since they were on East Wash and the layout of their current location is much better than the old one. We have gotten incredible deals on clothes, housewares, and movies, and service, while not up to Woodmans standards, is acceptable and you dont have to wait in line that long if you dont shop during their busy times just like at most stores.

Used to be priced decent for used goods. Now asking 15-30$ for a pair of used jeans is insane. Tank tops for 11$ are you kidding me? They closed the west side location. And jacked all the process way up. I was thrift shopping today and stopped at goodwill and bought a mallards hat for 2.49 went to savers same hat that was in rough condition was 6.99 little to steep for thrift shopping. We decided not to get anything and will not be returning

Savers is a good store very strange atmosphere with the employees compared to Goodwill. They need faster cashiers I stood inline for 20 minutes. Every time I was at Saver there would be one register open. If employees see the line getting longer dont stare off into space. Do your job and open more lanes people have places to go.

what is up with these prices!?! are you kidding me, you are a thrift store! let me get this straight. . . people donate this stuff to you, for FREE. then you want to rape anyone who shops at your store. I hope you go out of business YESTERDAY! lets change this people! stop shopping at savers and donate elsewhere.

Classier than a goodwill, at least for things other than clothes. If you donate, they will give you a coupon up to 30% off which is nice. Also, I think more of the money good back to the cause.

Pricing doesnt compete with a choice that benefits a great cause of Goodwill. ; ] you can still find some amazing swoops regardless. Place gets insanely busy for parking , navigating or paying

Huge selection for men and women. Lota of styles and all clothes and houseware items are very gently used. Find a few items almost every visit. Worth the 45 minute drive for the great prices!

This place sells used stuff like goodwill but there prices are way out of line. For about 1.00 more on most items you can buy new. Collectibles they price based off of Ebay.

Prices are generally the highest out of all the thrift stores in the area, so its necessary to bring a bag for donation or shop on days when theyre having special sales.

I love savers because of the gems you find here, almost all at good prices. Clothing especially. A lot of clothing I find here still have original tags. Sold!

Bought four dining chairs from here, staff was very helpful and kind. They have a program that grants you 20% off once you join! Great furniture collection.

Nice store, decent selection, better laid out than GW and wider aisles. easy to shop but like any store, occasionally a back up at the register.

You want to find a deal? Go here. Good bike selection given the day. Got a $150 bike for $50. Among countless other things. Highly recommended.,

The best second hand store. Sales are the best, somethings are over priced, but staff are always sincere and look like they have fun.

Name of the store is misleading. For a thrift store called Savers you sure dont save a lot. And they get the stuff donated to them.

For the most part you can find good deals on clothing. You may have to go back every couple of months for the inventory to change.

Typical second hand store with very good prices. The way they hang their jeans makes it easy to check their size.

I have waited in line for 15 to 20 minutes. Customer service is slow. But they have a great selection.
