I love the Bethesda store. I donate frequently, and stop by when Im in the neighborhood all the time. The Bethesda store...its clean, neatly organized, prices are great. And I especially love that the electrical appliances are tested to make sure they work. The volunteers are unfailingly polite and helpful. They have told me what some mystery item is more than once. I was looking for an antique waffle iron and it was there. Volunteer helped me find it. it works perfectly. cost 10 bucks and it was 50 dollars on e bay. High end womens clothing and woolen items? there. Blankets, quilts, furniture. all in good condition and There. The volunteers have pointed me to specials like half price tags more than once too. Reading the snotty review previous made me so mad that I had to say that guy is not going to be happy no matter where he shops.

went in this store the other day. all i found was JUNK but hey, its like a donation so i picked up a few things. Once i got to the register i was greetd by who i assume was the manager. He looked at one of my first item and said the price was switched. so he went in the basement and came back YEP someone switched the price! i was like what? so if someone finds a deal there all of a sudden the price changes BS! I did notice too when i was going to the register some of the staff, even with a cane, were wondering the store. then realized they were keeping an eye on me LOL. Pretty funny considering i had a grand in my pocket and drove off in a car i pd 50k for. I will NEVER go back to this place. discriminating against people for there looks and accusing people of trying to cheat them gives CHRISTIANS a bad name, no thanks

To make the most of this place, you really need to go regularly. Sometimes theres nothing and other times I fill a cart. But even when theres nothing that catches my eye, the staff makes the visit worthwhile, especially the manager whos always so friendly and jokes easily with customers. Definitely worth a visit.

I am addicted to Bethesda! Amazing finds, awesome prices, and super friendly and helpful staff. I love that they test everything (even the light bulbs!) and all the little odds and ends that you cant find in stores. Easily the best thrift store in town!

I LOVE this place! Friendly staff! I go often. I always find a few things...sometimes many things! Nice clothing, fun Knickknacks, good furniture, reasonable prices, and the proceeds go to a very good cause! Thanks for the wonderful shopping experience. : )
