This is my most favorite pet store to go for my kitties! The staff is incredibly helpful in answering any questions I have. I love looking for new cat toys here. The bins with the little toys are fun to look through. Most of my cats toys come from this place. My kitties are so hard on their toys so we keep buying more and more! The location of this Mad Cat store is very convenient. We just switched our kitties from Iams food that we usually picked up at Woodmans to an awesome grain free food were now buying from Mad Cat. It was especially helpful how they organize the cat food to show what is grain free and what isnt. I wanted to go without a food without corn being one of the top 5 ingredients and to make sure I could get a better crude protein and fat content in my kitties nutrition. Because of how the food was organized at Mad Cat, this made my goal a lot easier to tackle! Oh and those nerd rats are totally worth the money! It has such potent catnip in it, my kitties love it! Its been at least a year and it hasnt busted open yet! They usually tend to break most toys after a month or two. Im very happy with Mad Cat! Thank you Mad Cat for your oustanding service and bringing quality cat products to my side of town!

I absolutely love MadCat. The selection is nice, and the employees are very helpful. Theyve even provided me with a bounty of pet sitter recommendations before when I didnt know who to call. I purchased a wonderful, well-crafted cat tree there, and I go there regularly to purchase nearly all of my cats food and toys. The store is also just a fun place to go, honestly. Its nice to chat with other cat lovers there, and there are 4 cute cats who live in the store and often a couple of foster cats there up for adoption. Convenient location for west-siders.

Each location has an on site kitty and each typically features an adoptable feline from the Dane County Friends of Ferals cat rescue. Stop by say hello and maybe take home a few things for your furry family members.

Very unhappy. I was told by a worker there that i could return a product and get my money back if the product did not work. Went to return it and they told me i had to use in store credit the same day since I paid by check. I was given false information and no one should ever have to use in store credit on the same day. I will never shop at MadCat again.

i bought a cat tower here for our cat and was very impressed with not only the selection but also the many different styles. I also liked the fact that they use real wood when building them (almost looks like drift wood) which gives it a little more style than just a piece of wood with carpet wrapped around it. a little pricey but worth it

This is my favorite Madcat location in Madison. It has a cozy feel and you get to meet the mother-son cat pair that have made the shop their home. I bought a cat tree and cat basket from here that my cats have loved since day 1. The staff were super helpful and even offered free delivery for the cat scratching post if it didnt fit my car.

Fantastic selection of cat trees. They have a generous return policy for cat trees in case your cat wont use the tree, but that wasnt an issue for me. My cat adores her new tree! Employees and the store cat were all very friendly.

Top quality holistic pet foods with only the best ingredients. Mostly dog and cat supplies. Some small animal in the back. Often have cats for adoptions and fairs on Saturdays. Staff is also very friendly.
