I came into this Petco location to buy a few things for my ball python. One glance at the reptile enclosures was enough to make me crindge. I dont buy pets from corporate pet stores anyway, but this location was a prime example as to why that is. The lemon blast ball python priced at $300 was severely under weight, stuck in shed and surrounded by his own feces and shredded skin. There were sprouts of some sort of live plant starting to grow so I can only assume his substrate had not been changed out in a while. His humidity was at 45 percent and I couldnt even tell you his temperature because his thermometer had fallen off the back wall. The bearded dragons were surrounded by their own feces as well, with a few of them looking near death. There was also a dying and twitching rat in the large rat enclosure. I didnt even buy what I came to get originally because I didnt want to give this company, or this location any of my money.

The saltwater "experts" that work at this store likely have never been within a few feet of a saltwater aquarium before working at this store, much less kept one. I once toyed around with a fish "expert" that worked here and asked what the white spots on the side of the powder blue tang were (The white spots were Marine Ich, a common parasite). He said they were just natural spots that come on these fish. I likely wouldnt put the sick and dying fish from this store in my aquariums even if they were given to me for free, at least without a long stay in a hospital tank.

Just about every time I come here to try and get my dogs nails trimmed, they always have some excuse why they cant do it. It is advertised as a walk-in service, but definitely isnt at this location. Ive been given every excuse from Im the only person here and too busy, the other groomer took the dremel home, the groomers went home early, etc. Its always something. Maybe the new PetCo on Northside in Jackson is better, but its disappointing that I have to drive to Petsmart in Jackson or Flowood for decent service.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS STORE A ZERO, I DEFINITELY WOULD!!! Store is disorganized to begin with. The biggest problem though is the Grooming saloon manager Alex. Completely rude for no reason and a shear unwillingness to help you JUST TO BEING WITH. My wife went to get our dog groomed and he CUT!!!! our dog and refused to do anything about it. THEN we were still charged. IF YOU VALUE YOUR DOGS LIFE DONT NOT GO HERE!!!!! MASTER GROOMER????? WHAT A JOKE!!!!!

We decided to switch to Petco after a bad fish experience at another store and VERY happy we did. Their fish tanks looked well taken care of, no dead fish floating anywhere, and one of the managers spent 15-20 minutes with us helping and explaining everything. It was a great experience and our fish are doing great :) definitely worth the few extra minutes of driving to that store

Really good staff! I was over there last year to get some goldfish and they came over for about 20 minutes and explained a bunch of stuff. I had to get new fish because we had won a fish at the fair and it ate my petco fish! And they were about to be 4 years old! The fish there live a very long time. I highly recommend getting FISH from there!

I just love this store! It is always so nice and neat. I especially love that they have a Science Diet Rep that comes every weekend to hand out coupons, and educate people on Hills Science Diet products. I personally love the company and I feed my four dogs Ideal Balance, because of the No Wheat, Soy, or Corn.

Too bad you didnt ask an employee, because SALTWATER FISH are coming after the store has been opened for about a month. Cant put saltwater fish in the display tanks until tanks have been running for awhile in store. There will finally be a place that sells healthy saltwater fish in the Jackson area!!!

Took my Akita to be groomed and they did an excellent job! her coat takes HOURS to dry and they have a drying machine she sits in and it dried her all the way. she smelled fabulous for months!!! and all for under $50 for a 120 pound dog!!!! GREAT PRICES!!!

I loved this new store. They have manager specials and a great grooming salon. I have a standard poodle and Bonnie did a BEAUTIFUL job on him!!! The price is reasonable too please leave it there!
