The only reason I went to this dealership is because they were the only ones within 320 miles that had the car I was looking for. I called for a test drive to see it and drove the 55 minutes out to Lomira. They were expecting me to buy the car that day, kept me there for over 3 hours, wanted me to fill out their credit information when I already had a loan from my bank at a better rate. The price online didnt even match the price on the cars "sale" sign, it was higher at the dealership but they honored the online price. I finally left and took 5 days to consider the car. They will annoyingly call you or E-mail you. I told them I wasnt so sure on the car, and later that day I got an E-mail with a completely irrelevant car saying "If you didnt like _____ car, try looking at ____!" Extremely annoying. The only reason I didnt WANT to go back? I didnt want to give them my business. Dont get me wrong, I knew going back Id have to go around cleaning up their gigantic mess of a sales department after purchasing the car (changing addresses, registration, paperwork) but they kept pushing and that made it exhausting. I want to believe the sales lady had MAYBE some good intentions, but the entire transaction was coated in slime. Didnt know much about the car and only seemed to know the "spiel" about newer features, which I had already claimed I either knew about or didnt have an interest in (we all know Fords SYNC isnt very good in some years). I love the car, but I knew after 2 months of researching the exact model with certain features that I would. I was only really worried about engine problems. Bought a used at 40,000 miles, havent seen any engine problem indications yet. There was a chip in the glass where they put the sticker for the cars year though, and I had asked them to remove some tacky pin striping decals from the sides. It didnt come all the way off one fender and when I pointed it out, the sales lady didnt even care. Didnt make any move to remove the literal stain on the car. Also didnt have a manual for the car, what she said? I could find one online. Now the joy of my new car is still a bit tainted by the pushy, slimy, sales department. That "new car smell" that kept reminding me of this place? Got an air freshener ASAP. The whole transaction just makes me feel disgusting.

It truly would be hard to rate this experience anything over just okay. This is due to the lack of interest the salesman had in selling a non-ford used vehicles. I had to wait hours for the vehicle to be detailed and it came with no Manuel in the glovebox(I would think thats a safety concern for the company and the consumer as one drives away on the lot). As far as detailing, I test drove with McDonalds under the seat and unacceptable cleanliness of the vehicle. I think one thing the salesmen need to realize is that even if you dont sell Chevys(or any other pre-owned vehicle) a general knowledge of the background and features is how you sell it. I dont even think online nor in person anybody talked about back up camera or remote start even being on the equinox. EVS is a bigger company with not only a Ford branch, but a GM location as well. Although the vehicle runs great and is detailed well now, the level of professionalism is so low that I question wether an inspection was done or an oil change. I mean if it was inspected how would you get past all the nasty crud In the vehicle to inspect. I would however say that the checkout and paperwork went well with a lady that usually works at a different branch and was filling in that day at your EVS. As salesmen they represent your company, EVS Ford Lomira need to take interest in their pre-owned vehicles as if their a ford brand new. It should be clean and ready to ride the road. All aspects were not fully satisfying me like other dealers Ive been to. Lenny was okay, but rude at moments for a first time car buyer. He just needs to show interest in all cars that he sells. Quote, " I dont know, I dont sell Chevys or know anything about them". Purely said, dont act like Im wasting your time from selling other vehicles when Im not even completed with the checkout. The process was just okay, but well below average in my eyes and the others who came.

I looked all over Wisconsin for about 4 weeks before buying my used Acura RDX from EVS-Ford in Lomira. After visiting dealerships in Oshkosh, Appleton, Stevens Point, Green Bay, Sheboygan, West Allis and Waukesha I can say without reservation that my experience here was the best. There are three main reasons for this very positive review. (1) I got the best deal (2) I got a sleek and mechanically sound car and (3) I got the best service and purchase experience. Robert West was a thoughtful, non-pushy yet warm and professional salesman. He got what I was looking for and gave me a darn good price. I am a college professor and I tend to research the heck out of everything I purchase - especially a used car. In addition, being new to the state, I needed insurance and financing. The team at Lomira went to bat for me (finance manager Sondra Kannenberg), finding me the best rate - Robert West picked up his phone and dialled his personal connections till we got the right coverage. The pre, during and post sales experiences were exemplary. They even sent someone from Lomira to Oshkosh to pick me up the day I bought the car. I couldnt recommend these guys any higher. I am as fussy as they come and I am happy to say that I made what I think was a perfect purchase, meeting all my requirements. I have a sturdy, stylish, affordable vehicle in my driveway now.

Purchased an Edge from them and had a less than stellar experience with one of their salespeople. If you look through the reviews, I believe we had the same one as someone else who rated them 1 star but dont remember for sure. Anyways, I take the vehicle back there for regular maintenance and most of the time everything works out fine. Recently theyve gone through some management changes. This has been a good change in terms of service. There used to be only one guy, Bob, who took care of the people coming in. Now they have at least 3 people. It makes the process quicker to get in and out. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful. If wed buy another car from there and have a less than stellar salesperson, Id definitely ask for someone else or go to a different dealership. Id say service is 5 out of 5 even though their hands are tied sometimes with the manufacturer to be able to do some things. Sales is 3 out of 5 at most. Just go in there knowing what you want to buy.

I looked online and we found a vehicle we liked so I called and it was sold 2 days before, so I was looking online with the guy I was talking to and right away he was asking me what kind of vehicle(s) we were looking for and was searching with me while on the phone, then I found the Expedition (we now have) and the guy was able to get it to the dealership from one of their other EVS dealership the same day so we could test drive it that night. They were all friendly and welcoming when we arrived and they made sure we got what we were looking for and satisfied with it after the test drive. This is the 2nd car we got through an EVS dealership and at both places they were doing everything they could to get us in the vehicle we wanted. We will most likely go back for our future vehicles. We were surprised how fast it went from looking to owning what we were looking for.
