First, I must admit that I consider myself completely car illiterate. It is not something I am very comfortable with. I walked into Dahl Automotive looking to inquire about the process overall and walked out with my first car from a dealership. This was a process that had always intimidated and scared me. I wasnt even sure I was asking all of the right questions. However, I must commend all of the staff that I encountered during my visit, specifically Nathan Kemp, Jim Abeyta, Jeremy Gullickson, and Tyler Dahl. I felt at ease the entire time. I also felt as though all of these professional gentleman had my best interest in mind the entire time throughout the process. In just a matter of a few quick hours, I became a new car owner with hugs and lots of congratulations. I feel very secure in my decision. Never once did I feel pressured to look at anything outside of my budget, add features or packages I didnt need, or, look at vehicles that werent what I had in mind. As someone that isnt comfortable with cars, that meant a lot. I was guided through the entire process very easily. Nathan worked really diligently to ask questions so that we could be on the same page. I knew I was in good hands and am very thankful I could trust someone in this process. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to this wonderful family owned dealership. I am confident that I now consider myself a lifelong customer. In fact, the service level and experience was above and beyond. This is the dealership that when I return, theyll remember me. Thanks again!

I would highly encourage anyone that is considering shopping at Dahl to read this review. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Sonata with ~30,000 miles on it from Dahl. We were told by the salesman (who treated us very respectfully) that we would have a 4 day return on the vehicle if it was not up to our standards. We took the vehicle home and noticed a small spot of rust that initially had not factored into our purchase, although we probably should have vetted the car a little more thoroughly before buying. This was obviously an issue for us and I called Dahl to have it checked out. I scheduled the meeting for 4 days after the purchase date because it was a more convenient time and I thought I could still return it. However, the actual Dahl return policy is 3 days and when I showed up they estimated that it would cost over $1,000 to fix. Initially they were reluctant to fix the rust spot and they said I could exchange the vehicle, but I would lose money from the amount of miles I had put on it. However, after talking further with the sales manager he agreed to cover all the costs of fixing the rust, which will include sanding off the rust and re-priming and repainting of the entire affected panel. They were very kind and respectful and overall we got a great deal on our car (~$2,500 under blue book value). I will update this post after my car is fixed if there are any further issues. Otherwise I very much recommend Dahl automotive as they are highly willing to work with their customers and have great deals on used cars.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. This place is ok on the sales side, but the service side is the absolute worst. 3 plus hour wait for a scheduled oil change. On a different visit They forgot about me when the shuttle returned and I had to walk to work. Service manager was "supposed to call to follow up on my poor experience"....never happened. Made Multiple trips in for a service light on my wifes brand new crosstrek that Im convinced they did not fix but just turned off the light on trys 1, 2, and 3. Finally resolved on the 4th visit. "A spider web in an air line". Bought a used Kia under warranty. Leaked axle fluid all over my garage on the FIRST night home. Had it back in, next day found a crack in the bottom of the windshield. They swore it happened in the first 2 days I had it - Although it was in the shop for 1 of those days. Fought and fought and the manager said they would only cover 1/2 the cost. I ended up emailing Tyler Dahl directly to get the issue resolved. This place has been a nightmare, stay far away. love Subaru, on our 2nd one. I will never buy from this dealer, nor service my vehicles with this company, unless its warranty work. On another note, they have all of my parents cars and my wife and My cars all mixed up in their system, They can never figure out whos car belongs to who. Its laughable. Ive never had such bad experiences. Its truly unreal.

I have bought many cars over the years with poor to average results. This buying experience was much different. From the time I and my GF stepped onto the lot and greeted by Ken Hauser we felt welcome. He was honest about the vehicle I had done a lot of research on and was never pushy. A genuine salesman isnt exactly the easiest thing to find but you will have it if you do business with him. I had financing in line when I arrived, but allowed Jeremy Gullickson and a partner to do their thing and they offered me a better plan. And for someone whom has some problem credit from years prior I didnt know that was possible. Kali then made it painless to go through the finance paperwork, license, title, etc. And did I mention I arrived just before closing time? Almost everything other than driving the vehicle was done after they were closed. I couldnt be happier and look forward to a long lasting relationship with Dahl of La Crosse.

Somehow my review was removed... This place is terrible, but some key points to keep it nice and sweet: - told by several la Crosse residents to stay away because this place is horrible. Still tried and paid the price. - lied to by the service department. I had to call in to check on a part that had been there for a week that they had no clue was there. - lied to by the parts department. Instead of ordering two interior clips for $4 total they claimed I had to order something that cost almost $400 - mechanics are slower than slow. Took 2+ hours to do something that should have taken 45 on two occasions. - neither job done correctly, had to take the car to Madison to fix their screw up. - The owner called me and pretty much tried to sweeten me up. Only thing that he cares about is making money... after an hour long phone conversation this is what he says "...we need to know how to spend your money".

We had known for a while that we needed a bigger back seat for our daughter and her car seat but, I have purchased many used and new cars and trucks and have always hated the experience. I have always felt they are "taking advantage of me" or trying too. I have said I would rather have a cavity filled than buy a car. NOT SO with Kyle Dulek. I got a wonderful price with just a phone call and decided that not only will I drive an hour and a half to purchase this car but will be back in the future. I have also recommended him to all that have commented on my new "sweet" ride. I have NEVER been so happy and satisfied with a price or our new car. He spent time showing us the features and explaining everything we needed to know. My daughter even colored him a picture for his wall! What a great place to find a wonderful car and find salespeople that care about you and your family. We will be back!
