I havent been there for a year. Here is the scinerio. My husband and i both bought iced coffees from there little cafe, we were sitting at a table in the bottom area. We finished our drinks. His daughter and son in law and their kids met up with us. We had j7st finished our drinks and we started discussing where we were all going out to eat. My step daughter had bought a frozen coffee drink from Gloria Jeans that she did not like. Not wanting to waste something she paid $5 for, she gave it to her Dad. I got up off the table went up the steps and threw away our cups. A cafe worker fallowed me back to the table to inform us that they do not allow drinks from other places at their tables and that we either had to throw it away or leave. We tried to resist. She was very firm. We ignored her. She continued to complain my husband stared her down but we did not move. We were customers we had purchased drinks. It was unfortunate that the party we were waiting for had purchased an item simewhere else. But they were standing. She finally walked away. We finished our conversation tossed the book items we planned on buying on the nearest table and have never been back.

Its a bookstore with coffee. They have a multimedia portion as well, where youll find CDs and DVDs. It seems like the prices for some of the music and movies is extreme given local and internet-based competition. Ive not found any useful information on their website about price matching but other websites suggest that they do not price match others, or even their own online sales. As another reviewer noted, they do have chairs scattered throughout the store so youll often see a lot of people sitting and reading books and magazines they do not own. So from that perspective, it might look like a library with a coffee store.

When I went to the checkout counter with items from the clearance table that had a sign 75% off, I was told that these items did not ring up with the discount, and did I want them anyway. I left the store. This has happened before and I believe it may be a deliberate attempt to sell slow moving inventory. A upfront business would have adjusted the price at the register. A nice looking store with shady marketing practices. Buyer beware!!

Its got lots of books to peruse, overpriced mass market coffee, and somewhat comfortable seating, how can you go wrong? Sometime ago B&N gave up on supplying really comfy couches for its customers. Its understandable, theyre not a library and it isnt their business model to supply comfy spots for Starbucks customers to while away the hours reading and conversing, but it makes the one-star difference.

Gotta love Barns and Noble! However, this poor rating is for the kids storytime! It was not what I was expecting, there was no energy or enthusiasm from the reader. With all the effort it takes to get the kids in a car and go somewhere, it was not worth the trip! Literally only three minutes of reading and the lady just got up and walked off, really disappointing!

All of the books at the store itself sell for 30-40% more than on their website and they wont even match their own price online. Shouldnt their online and store price be the same? It is at other retail stores.

While my wife was purchasing a book I asked for 5 ones in exchange for a five. The cashier refused, I couldnt believe it. Horrible customer service, we will not be going back

Monstrous store. Great selection on any genre you could want including graphic novels, How-tos, and more. Has a decent movie selection as well but they are kind of pricey.

Good selection, but they dont price match Amazon or anywhere, so expect to pay more than its worth for the convenience of getting it right away.
