I went into this shop to sell some old jewelry I have not worn in years, so I cleaned it all up beforehand in jewelry cleaner that I had at home and brought it here (gold and silver). They immediately took out the gold ring I had and gave me a dirt cheap offer for it. Then the bald guy refused to even acknowledge all the silver I had brought (one bag FULL of vintage and new sterling silver rings and earrings, sterling silver chains, and even the chunky thick Brighton brand sterling silver, and even jewelry with diamond chips in them) and he looked at me and said this is the price for silver right now so youd need alot....Then continues to stare at me without even attempting to weigh any of the pieces I brought like just me being there was wasting HIS time and the bag FULL of sterling silver wasnt "alot". All the GOOD reviews for this place are from people who work here or know the employees. They are terrible at customer service and while most places want to actually help you out, this place doesnt give a rats backside about you. Ill go to the shop in IL that my mom goes to since they actually want to work out a deal and BOTHER to weigh everything she brings in, unlike this GNT place who cant be bothered with you and dont respect their customers enough to even weigh more than ONE piece of gold that you bring in because you, the customer, are obviously not worth the bare minimum effort. I honestly wish Google was smart enough to tell when people who work for a place are giving their own store false positive reviews because their service is SO BAD.

To bad it makes you give 1 star just to leave a review because if i could i would give 0. The whole 18 reviews this place has must be from friends/family because i just had the worst management experience ever. Whoever the man with all the discolored skin ia he is by far the biggest a-hole i have ever met. My husband went to buy a gold chain from this place and they had it marked wrong after so called"40 yrs these people have been in business" as the man argued they priced something wrong so insisted we pay over 100$ more because of their mistake idk you can decide for yourself but i think that was just plain bad business. You made the mistake and your customer had to pay for it wow. Needles to say we got the chain and like it but wish GNT had no part in the profit. Just saying... How cute to play that card. But anyways the last thing i am gong to say is read the reviews people you will see the cocky attitude this man has. He has lashed back at almost any bad review. Poor customers theyve already had a bad experience way to make it worse. What does that really say? I wont be wasting any more time on this particular subject i know what happened and thats all that matters.

I recently purchased a XBOX 360 from this GNT pawn store on Sheriden Rd, Kenosha. The date on purchases was January 8th, Now only 32 day later the system has stopped working. I brought it back to the store to see if they could make it work again or exchange it. They refused to do so, due to the fact it was over the 30 day policy...Only by 2 days!! I am very upset by the service I recieved at this shop..My small children loved their XBox for gaming and movies and we depended on GNT selling quality electronics. I feel takin advantage of. I have to shop at places like this for good deals so I can always give my four kids things they deserve. .I cant afford New and "Big Box" stores. Shame on you GNT!

My mom and I visited GNT pawn today. Wow what a great experience. We were looking for a ring for my dad for mom and dads anniversary. The man that helped us was very patient and went out of his way to help us find the perfect ring. We finally found a great piece at a very reasonable price. I could not help to notice how nice every employee was while we were there. Thanks GNT Pawn we will definitely be back.

Stopped by this place during my vacation a few weeks ago and wow was I impressed. I love going to different pawn shops when I travel because you never know what treasures you will find. This place was clean and everything was displayed with care. I was greeted when I entered and was made to feel welcomed! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for friendly staff and great deals.

My wife came in with a silver pandora (with aquamarine charm) bracelet for a loan...The guy with skin discolor offered her $25 for a bracelet I paid $220 for...I guess he thought we were drug attics or something...I took the same bracelet to Waukegan & got a loan OVER TWICE THAT AMOUNT...a shame I have to cross state borders for good service #ThumbsDown

Tom and his people are top notch. I have done a few deals with him, from a few hundred to a couple grand. Its always easy, quick, and best of all a great deal. Definitely you can deal with confidence. I would send my family to do business with them cause they do it the right way.
