Just went to the Main St. store in Fond du Lac for the first time and will definitely be going back. I stopped in the Forest Mall location looking for comics about a year ago and found gaming related products and merchandise with very few, if any, comics (if I remember correctly). I stupidly assumed that the other Chimera shops would have similar selections and Ive been driving from Fond du Lac to House of Heroes in Oshkosh because I never bothered to check out the Main St. store. A friend from work informed me of my ignorance and I was very pleasantly surprised when I stopped in. At first glance the selection seems comparable to House of Heroes, and they had all the books I went in to look for plus a bunch that are on my reading list. House of Heroes is awesome, but its also in Oshkosh. Now that I know about Chimera Ill be getting my books locally.

I discovered Chimera Hobby about 20 years ago (yes, theyve been around that long!), and hadnt shopped at the Fond du Lac store in almost 15 years. I stopped in a couple of months ago for the first time in a long time and was very impressed. They have an excellent selection of comics and gaming supplies for the hard core geek, and also board games that the family would love and even some educational toys and stuffed animals. I found the service to be excellent and while there are similarities between this and the Appleton store, each has a unique vibe. I remember as a kid I used to have my parents drag me out of town to find gaming stores since we didnt have one locally, this is the type of store that is worth traveling for. Highly recommended!

This is more of a note to the owner bob. The two ladies you have working there are just terrible. They made me feel unwelcome from the minute I walked in the door. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong whenever I wanted to buy something, and in general had a verry negative attitude. I was never Gunna come back, till my girlfreind dragged me. Then we met a verry nice guy who welcomed us from the start and helped 100% of the way. Ill change my rating when the ladys are as nice as everyone else there, or when I dont have to see them anymore. No offence bob, your store is 5 star, but the girls are really holding you down.

Very helpful. Very knowledgeable when I had questions about comics. Theyre great at holding items for you, and setting up a membership box for you. Great quality comics. They also have tournaments for Magic. Fridays I believe is the tournament day. There could be others, Im not totally sure since Im only there for comic books personally.

Back issues are randomly packed in boxes on a shelf in the back of the store. Dont expect help finding anything either because youre supposed to sort through their mess by yourself. The cashier would rather talk to friends about video games than help find anything so your best bet is to just order online.

By far the best place in fondy but i do wish there were more formats for magic since that is all i go there for. But i would still enjoy booster draft like always. Defiantly my favorite place to go on friday night to relax and crack some packs
