i purchased a bed frame. the sales associates were very nice. i ordered it and set a date to have it delivered without issues and the associate said there should be no problem having it delivered on the date since the order was placed a month in advanced. a week before the delivery date i get a call from the associate and he tells me that the frame will not be able to be delivered on that date and that they are back ordered for two weeks. we proceed to set a new delivery date and all goes well.i get another call from the store and am told what time the delivery team will be there(9:30am-3:30pm) and was informed i was one of the last deliveries of the day. the delivery team shows up the next day at 9:00am and claim to have been sitting at my house for an hour also claiming they knocked on the door and rang the doorbell. the doorbell is right outside of my bedroom and did not ring. i wake up to a call from the delivery team calling me at 10am and being informed that i would have to reschedule a new delivery date. i proceed to tell him that that is not possible due to my work schedule and that i have already taken the day off for this. after this i call costumer service and they proceed to tell me the same thing. i then tell them that i will just pick it up myself and want a refund for the delivery but they tell me i can no longer do that since my item is already on the delivery truck and i will have to reschedule another delivery. i called the store where i bought it from and told them to have the delivery team drop it off at the store when they get a chance, call me when its there and they agree to do so. i get to the store two hours later to pick up the bed frame and they tell me it been here for a while. i load it up get it home and get ready to put it together and find out its missing three of the main screws that hold it all together and after four more calls and visits to the store i finally get my bed frame together. so all in all would i buy from Ashley Furniture? only if i didnt have to place an order. would i recommend buying from them? since the delivery team and costumer service sucks i would recommend going through a third party retailer because at least your furniture would be on time, be inspected and have all of the parts

The sales service was helpful and nice but once I made the purchase things went down hill quickly. I purchased a table and opted to pick it up and assemble it myself rather than paying a $150.00 delivery fee. I also purchased a $99.00 Guardsman extended warranty for dents and dings but found out that they wont cover the product if you assemble it yourself (basically void at the point of purchase). I called customer service and after an extended wait I was told I had to call Guardsman, called Guardsman and after another extended wait I was told they wouldnt cover the table and that I had to go to the store to get it refunded. Now i have a table and no warranty. If after this I decided to return the table (which also ended up having a noticeable warp to it) I would have to box it up and bring it back to Arcadia (about an hour drive) and then theyll inspect it to see if theyll accept it. I used to like Ashley but now I dont want to shop there again because of this. Be cautious in your purchases and ask questions about warranties. Both customer service and sales didnt have a clue that the warranty was void if I picked it up.

From my public FB post: Today, I wanted to buy a new recliner. The one I have is 25 years old, and with knee replacement surgery coming up, I needed to replace it. I went to Hom furniture, told the salesperson what I was looking for . . . and was virtually ignored for the next 20 minutes. It was not busy - my salesperson was at his desk chatting with co-workers. At one point, I was wandering around the store trying to find someone to answer my questions . . . finally, I just left. I went to Slumberland . . . same thing. I was ignored and dismissed. I have never felt so old and invisible. It was humilating and frustrating. Then, I went to Ashley furniture. Tony, the salesperson who greeted me at the door, was awesome. He noted what I was looking for, pointed out my options, left me alone for 3-4 minutes at a time so I could try out different recliners, and seemed to instinctively know when to check on me so he could answer my questions. He made me feel like my business was important. He saw me. He listened to me. And I bought a really, really great recliner.

I am very disappointed in Ashley Furniture Eau Claire. And when I pay off My Debt I or No One in My family which is around 20some. The Salesman was a vet nice Guy. The furniture is excellent. But You installers who I paid for decided to set up Our Bed around 2-4 inches from The Wall. Well with the head and feet adjust so when they finished we decided to try it out. If You know these beds when You adjust the head it goes backwards First then The head goes up. Well Thanks to the installers putting it so close it tore up The Wall behind the bed. I called Someone from Ashley and they sent over some Insurance Person. He took pictures and said I would have Someone would be over to fix it. About a week later I got a letter saying They would not be Fixing the wall. Something about it wasnt their fault. So these Professionals who install Your Furniture didnt know the bed was too close to the wall. Bull now I have to fix. And lost ALL RESPECT FOR ASHLEY. POOR CS. RICK LANG. A FORMER CUSTOMER AND PISSED OFF!!!!!

We went to Ashley today in hopes to find a new bed. We have had several bad experiences previously at other stores. We were greated right as we entered the store by a very nice sales person named Rachel. She asked what we were shopping for and offered to take us to the mattress section. She said she could help us best if we tried the 1st two beds to determine how firm a matrees we liked. We told her about our horrible past experiences and how sceptical we wete about getting a new mattress. She was very sympathetic. Rachel was understanding and made sure we understood our options. She wasnt pushy and was very upfront with answering all our questions. I would highly recommend asking for her if you go to Ashley in Eau Claire. This was the best shopping experience we have had. Cant wait for the bed to get here ( free delivery). Rachel was the best and her manager was awesome too.

We went to Ashley in Eau Claire to find new living room furniture and bedroom furniture. I didnt do a lot of research before we went. Christopher started helping us as I was walking through the store with no clue what to look at or what would even fit into our home the way I had pictured in my head. Christopher stuck with us the entire time (and I mean hours) explaining pros and cons, different possibilities with sectional furniture, colors, etc. He was so knowledgeable... to the point I wondered how he could memorize all the information for each piece of furniture we looked at. Thanks to Christopher...We found exactly what we wanted! His customer service was seriously off the charts! I highly recommend Ashley in Eau Claire. Also, if you need ANYTHING or have questions... ask for Christopher!!! He will definitely be our go to person for all furniture questions or needs!!
