I stopped by for the first time to pick up a spare 1911 magazine and the clerk selected one for me. When I got home and realized it didnt fit my gun I stopped back by the armory with the firearm. The clerk inspected it and said he would have to order a special mag for my gun. A week or two went by and I didnt hear anything back. When I contacted them, they said they couldnt find the right magazine and asked me to bring the gun back in one more time. When I brought it in, a different clerk looked at it and realized it was the wrong magazine and pulled the correct one off the shelf. Everyone was friendly, but it was pretty disappointing to have to make three visits to the store to buy one magazine for a pretty standard firearm, not to mention it taking a lot longer to get the right mag. Id shop here again and give then another chance before I make up my mind.

I was in the market for a few firearms for my wife and I and decided to check prices at local gun shops and found Harpers Ferry Armory had the competition beat considerably. While they didnt have what we were looking for in stock, (no local shop did and this was expected for our requests) they were able to order them and kept us up to date on when to expect them and notified us immediately if anything changed with the order. Doing business with them was friendly, with no hassle,and they made us feel like a valued customer and not just a sale. I will not hesitate to use them again, and will most likely start my next request with them.

Best gun shop around. They build a custom, hand fitted .45 right here in Harpers Ferry that rivals, and in my opinion exceeds any of the big guys. And it comes with a LIFETIME warranty. Did I mention its a LIFETIME warranty. Cant wait to put rounds downrange with this amazing gun. The staff was incredibly friendly and spent all the time we needed to answer all our questions and make sure we were getting exactly what we needed. I highly recommend you go see these guys. Though it says Harpers Ferry Armory this is located in Charles Town across from the old Comcast building. Ive visited during their grand opening and have purchased several firearms from them. They have an excellent customer service and Ive never felt like I was taken advantage of because I am a female. They are very friendly and informative and looking forward to visiting HFA again.

Nice guys and great selection but WAY overpriced! They wanted $28 for a $12 box of 308 fmj target ammo. I would love to do business with them but the way their prices sit, I can not justify it. Please consider alternative options until they stop with ridiculous prices.
