I would give it 5 stars for my dress selection. Im giving it 3 for the customer service. I do not write reviews but I have started to rely on reviews. I found this place through my bridesmaid who found her dress here. I loved my dress and I got so many compliments on it. I was very disappointed with alternations. I felt like they really pushed their alternations person on me. Please keep in mind that she was a very super sweet woman. The belt was only sewn in four areas so it puckered and it was actually sewn down into the dress to where we had to cut it. I arrived an hour early on a Friday a week before my wedding. I felt like they had already got my money so they didnt care. A young girl helped me get my dress on and off and the main lady was out there briefly. I sent an email later to share my frustrations after I had to take my dress to my local seamstress. I spent $75 at their seamstress with another $80 at my local. She had to fix my belt, replace a popped off button, fix the bustle because it was dragging the ground since it was down too low, the bra cups were not properly sewn in to give me any kind of support so she had to fix those. I NEVER complain. I always just go about it and think oh well. But I couldnt just let this go after all the money I had spent. I got an email saying they forwarded it on to their seamstress and they ignored the fact that their customer service that day was shotty at best. She later responded that I was right and wanted to know what they could do to make it right. I responded after my wedding and said that it wasnt really up to me. I would love to know what they could do to make it right. I dont like to complain and had I not spent so much money, I wouldnt have. I never heard from them again. I love my dress. I would wear around the house every day if I could. I am sorely disappointed with the customer service. I would recommend saying up front that you will be using your own seamstress if you know someone.

THE WORST!! ARLENE, THE OWNER, TRICKS YOU INTO BUYING THE DRESSES FROM THEM WITH ALL OF HER COMPLIMENTS AT FIRST BUT FROM THE TIME THE DRESSES CAME IN, IT TURNED INTO BRIDAL HELL!!! #1- ARLENE TRIED TO TELL ME WHAT SHE HAD DECIDED TO DO WITH ALL MY BRIDESMAID DRESSES- NICE HUH, SINCE IT WAS HER WEDDING AND ALL... #2- FORGOT TO ORDER A PAIR OF MY BRIDESMAIDS SHOES.. #3- DYED ALL BUT ONE STRAP OF ANOTHER BRIDESMAIDS SHOES. #4- FORGOT TO DYE 2 OF MY OTHER BRIDESMAIDS SHOES... #5- IN 3 OF MY BRIDESMAID DRESSES THE INSIDE LINING WAS LEFT LONGER THAN THE DRESS ITSELF...AFTER WE PAID LOTS OF MONEY TO HAVE THEM ALTERED... #6- ALL I HAD TO HEAR FROM ARLENE, THE OWNER, WERE EXCUSES THE ENTIRE TIME ON HOW BUSY THEY WERE WITH EVERYONE ELSE- I MEAN SERIOUSLY WE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS THERE TO HAVE SUCH CRAPPY SERVICE... AND A BRIDE ISNT CONCERNED WITH EVERYONE ELSES WEDDING !! #7- TUXES WERE PROMISED ON THE TUESDAY BEFORE THE WEDDING- THEN BY THURSDAY THEY WERENT IN AND ARLENE COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS UPSET... NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WERE PICKING UP THE TUXES THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING- WHICH I SPECIFICALLY ASKED NOT TO HAPPEN BECAUSE WE WERE HAVING SUCH A BIG WEDDING AND HAD 1000 OTHER THINGS GOING ON... #8- THE COLOR WE HAD PICKED OUT FOR THE GROOMSMANS TUXES WASNT THE COLOR WE RECEIVED!!! I COULD GO ON AND ON WITH ALL THE OTHER THINGS THAT WENT WRONG AFTER I CHOSE THE BARN AS MY MAIN VENDOR FOR ALL MY TUXES AND BRIDESMAIDS ATTIRE... ARLENE IS VERY LUCKY TO STILL BE IN BUSINESS.. THANK GOODNESS SHE HAS A GOOD STAFF WORKING FOR HER!! DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID- AND SAVE YOURSELF AN UNIMAGINABLE AMOUNT OF WEDDING STRESS AND PICK SOMEONE ELSE TO HANDLE ALL OF YOUR ATTIRE NEEDS....

My mother and I went into The Barn on a whim to look for my wedding dress. We walked in and got treated as if we rented the entire place out. The ladies and their services were so helpful, they did not even let me hold dresses that I wanted to try on! They let me pull as many dresses as I wanted. While I was trying them on, the girl helping us was so involved, it was great. The seamstress peaked her head out of their back room and suggested I try on a beautiful gown that was one on display. That dress ended up being "the one." I already had chosen my wedding "colors," but upon buying this Ivory gown with a Gold underlay, I had to change every single color. Sues daughter (Cant remember her name) got out all of the fabric swabs, all colors, and worked with me until I had figured out all of the colors that looked best with my gown. Needless to say, Ive placed an order for my wedding dress, ten bridesmaid dresses, and ten tuxedos. I brought back at least five bridesmaids for their dresses, never once having an appointment, and left happy. If you do not go into this small shop acting entitled, you can get over the windows of waiting time that are inevitable. Its a beautiful place with great women. MUCH better then Davids Bridal (as far as wedding gowns go!) Love these ladies. Cant wait to send them pictures from the wedding. The Barn dressed our entire wedding party!

The Barns customer service is HORRIBLE!!! I went in a month or so ago looking for a simple headpiece and was treated like dirt while shopping. I bought something regardless, but when I got it home realized that it was all wrong for my dress. Today when I went in to see if I could return it the lady I spoke with was SO RUDE about the return!! When I said "Oh, I didnt realize," she began to get really, really defensive and went on to say that Id signed a contract when I bought it that clearly stated no return, etc., etc., etc. She just kept going on and on about it, berating me for even trying to return it. I could have accepted a simple "Sorry, we do not take returns"----but dont try to make me feel like an imbecile for trying to return something I didnt realize was unreturnable. I dont remember signing the said "contract" when I bought the headpiece. Im SO happy I didnt even go in to try dresses on---just judging by the poor customer service I wouldnt give them one more cent and warn others about this too. I hate to have lost the money on the headpiece (especially when the wedding budget is tight anyway), but I REALLY hate to have given The Barn any of my money in the first place. Ive NEVER left feedback about a place before, but this place is REALLY bad and I just had to warn others. Take your wedding money elsewhere!!

I just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful place this is! My fiancee and I are paying for our entire wedding ourselves and so are on a very tight budget. We had been shopping at numerous other stores and had not been treated well because we didnt have as much money to spend on a gown as other people. My fiancee was left feeling frustrated and in tears on more than one occasion. Until we came to the barn! What an awesome experience! When our consultant, Diane, asked us our budget, not only did she not look down her nose at us, but proceeded to treat my fiancee like a princess and gave her the same attention as all the other brides in the store. Not only she find her dream gown, but had a wonderful time working with Diane as well as all the other staff members in the store. I cant thank the ladies there for taking such good care of my fiancee and me and making us feel like we were the only customers in the place. Believe me when I say that customer service like this is hard to find. My fiancee and I know because we shopped around at lots of stores before we found the barn. If you are getting married, I highly recommend this establishment.
