Wonderful little place. Good food, relaxed atmosphere. Only issue Ive encountered is when something changes, the staff isnt sure about the items or menus. Only people who know are the long timers. Dont expect your food in a hurry. It will get there, and when it does, it is delicious. Voted "Best Milkshakes in WV", but their ice cream is decent as well. Only one place better that I have been to, but this is not about that. Wonderful little town, and a wonderful little shoppe.

I love places like this, I got the Elvis had to fight to finish cause of the size but so worth it, guy with me got the Johnny Cash and that was too manly for him but he loved it none the less, lol. Service was friendly and fast, cook time a little slow (18 mins) but the I can live with it cause it was good and the history, architecture and charm of the building kept me intreged, I live hour and a half away but will be stopping in whenever Im in town working.

I was excited to go here and kind of disappointed. The staff was wonderful, the food not, no one in our group took more than a few bites of anything, even the fries . Maybe it was an off night. And the whole place could use a good cleaning. The picture is a little deceiving. We also relied on the other reviews, so I would rather someone else not do that. Again people could not have been any nicer or attentive.

Went in at about 1 got a cherry coke that was flat. Told the girl, she was nice about it and got us another one. She then said their machine only works sometimes. We both got the pepperoni cheese roll and macaroni and cheese. The roll was good but not amazing. The macaroni and cheese reminded me of the frozen kind. Over all it was okay but dont think we will be returning.

I had to wait over an hour for a burger and fries. The place was busy but an occasional update about the status of my order would have meant a lot. I had actually gone to the register to pay for my drink and just leave when my food finally arrived. The hamburger patty was dry and they had added toppings I had specified I didnt want.

We waited over 20 minutes at the very first table coming in the door... no one spoke to us, no one even gave us menus (which I went up and asked for ) no one ever came to table to take drink order or even acknowledge that we were sitting there. We heard food was excellent but the service sucks ....

Great Food! Friendly service! Lots of gifty things and necessities to look at and buy there while your visiting including Hatfield McCoy Trail passes. I love their Decor, even the servers dress to fit the soda shop scene. Its an amazing must stop place if your in the area.

Always love visiting this little restaurant/soda shop, feels like a blast from the past and the food is always great after a long day of riding, for those riding the H/M trails this is a must stop for great food and old fashioned fountain drinks !

The good is amazingly good and the meal portions are very feeling, the service is great, and I loved the all the old historic thing sitting around. It is at the top of my destination list now every time I go to ride the trails.

Had a great lunch here. Staff was fun and friendly. Also there was home made ice cream. I got the banana split. So quaint. A real throwback soda-shop to a time gone by. I would not miss this place if you are close.
