As a coffee shop, this place was great if not perfect: the coffee good, the seating comfortable, the restroom clean, and the prices fair. Seeing as baristas are the non-executive face of a coffee shop, however, I must deduct two stars from an otherwise perfect rating, as one of the baristas, a blonde woman in her early to mid twenties with a nose ring, was relentlessly and obviously impolite to me. Perhaps she was just having a bad day or took something that I said in a manner that was not intended. Regardless of the reason for her demeanor, my experience was made less pleasant as a result. Perhaps you, the future patron, will have a more desirable experience.

Weve been wanting to try this coffee shop/roaster out for over a year now, but with funky afternoon only hours M-F, we finally got the chance this morning. Terrible service, gloomy baristas, cranky cashier, and stale coffee kept in thermoses who knows how old. Very neat decorations, but just average coffee, bad service, and terrible hours, why even think about going back? And youd think that a proud coffee roasting company would want to talk about and share their coffee passion with customers...not here.

Had a great experience here. Staff was very friendly and eager to help us understand certain items they offered. The food ordered was simply plated, but entirely fresh ingredients, well put-together, and delicious. Nice assortment of lunch/breakfast/grab-n-go items, as well! Coffees were a good price for what you get, so no complaints! The seating areas are great, especially when you get one of the sweet little nooks. Entire place was cleanly and pleasant. Will definitely be back!

When you have fresh roast coffee, as in within the last hour or days, it makes such a difference. Plus, not all coffee should be dark roasted - ala french roast - like stardollars. Fresh roast Columbian Supremo or any latin american bean they do here is superb. For these light roast and medium roasts you wont see all the esential oils boiling out of the beans, that keeps those flavors inside, for you and The Grind to put in your cup! Cheers.

Fair Trade, Organic and Fresh Roast...need I say more??? The Grinds coffee is excellent and the beans are roasted fresh in-house. They roast beans from all major coffee growing regions for every preference. There are "Fair Trade" and Organic choices as well. Why not try and support small local business who provide a superior product? It only makes sense.

I was disappointed by the changes at my previous favorite coffee shop in the area and was thrilled to find the Grind. Excellent selection of freshly roasted coffees and lots of different teas for my wife. Good barista when we were there and everything we tried was great. Highly recommended.

As a visiting non-Floridian, I found that The Grind was reminiscent of mom & pop coffeeshops of home. I liked it. A chill environment that offers free wifi. Oh yes, almost forgot: there are outlets near most seats for laptops.

It is small and stuffy, stale food, lukewarm coffee and the rudest woman that I have ever met behind the counter. Beware of the coffee woman. I will never step foot in there again, it was that bad.

Nice to get away from Starbucks and try something different. Certainly good choices available. Only issue is that they seemed some sort of grumpy, hipster attitude. Maybe it was just a bad day.

Nice selection of loose tea, great coffee. The staff here is always very friendly and helpful. Best of all, on Wednesdays you get 2 free sample tins when you buy a full size tin of tea.

Three weeks ago, on Saturday morning, nice place, the waitress was very disrespectful, she threw the plate on the table and walk away. The waitress was a woman.

Coffee and shakes are delicious. The inside is pretty and clean, and the staff is always very friendly. Id rather go here than Starbucks!

Nice place. Good coffee sometimes, but not consistently. They make a lot of mistakes like you ask for whole milk and they use skim.

Coffee was ok. Staff not rude but not nice. Price was normal. Dunkin donuts has much better coffee and friendlier staff!!

I worked from The Grind for a day while traveling, it was clean, the baristas were friendly and the espresso was tasty.
