I havent shopped there enough to know how the entire store operates. This may very well be a great place and you cant control every employee. I also dont review places very often and its typically for this same reason - bad customer service. Ill even admit that this is me venting about being treated rudely by someone more than it is a review. In short.. I just called in to speak with someone and the lady I spoke with was horrible. She even answered the phone with an attitude. She was rude, wouldnt let me finish my sentences and basically made me feel like I was bothering her. After my first sentence was cut off with a rude reply, I told her that I work in a customer service related field and wasnt calling to complain or be nasty. I just wanted to inform her of a problem with 2 hamsters my husband and kids purchased yesterday. I told her I just noticed a bald spot on both hamsters and upon searching the web I thought it may be ringworm. She cut me off several times just telling me to bring them back and get more. I explained that wouldnt help with something like ringworm - as they all could possibly have it. I again told her I just wanted to inform them so they could check their own hamsters and cages and that I would watch them for a day or two to know for sure. She told me it was probably from fighting and just to bring them back and get more. How did she know? Was she looking at the hamster? I wouldnt even care if she was clueless or if that was the standard answer. I realize the problems associated from buying animals from chain stores like this. Im only writing this now because of her attitude. So instead of being mean and informing her that her people skills really stink...I just apologized for bothering her AT WORK and hung up. I work with the public and I try to always remain positive and helpful....is it too much to expect the rest of the world to do the same? Ok I feel better.

Very rude! I called and asked how many hermit crabs they had and they told me they was doing other things and them counting the crabs wouldnt happen then when I asked for the store # the female in a rude tone said hang on let me go dig in the dirt and find out then suddenly they were all sold out so i said okay thanks she responded and mhm in a rude tone and hungup

This is a good pet store to take a timid little kitten to if you want to gradually introduce her to the outside world. It is not as busy as the other pet store in the mall, but it is busy enough to introduce her to new people and new sounds.
