The next to the worst grooming experience ever and I have taken schnauzers to be groomed for over twenty five years. When the store first opened I took my miniature schnauzer there for grooming and left very specific instructions on how he was to be done - along with bringing his shampoo from home. They told me to not come back until 7PM (it was a Sunday). First, having never been there before I didnt know what their hours were on Sundays - thankfully I was very early. When I told them that they said to not be there until 7:00 pm, they just shrugged. What would have happened to my dog? Shoved in a cage for the night? Turned loose? Turned into the pound as being abandoned? There were no apologies or anything. They simply didnt care. The haricut was horrible. I had told them to NOT touch his beard. It was shaved off. The person who did the cut must have never even seen a schnauzer before much less been trained on how to groom one. Everything was uneven and he had razor burns. Also, I believe a dirty blade was used as he got a skin infection that is common after not cleaning the blade properly. Also, his shampoo was not used - whatever was used had a totally different fragrance. I would never, ever go back in this place for any grooming services.

This is for the grooming station, not the PetSmart store. We made an appointment for our dog for a full spa treatment and were told it would take 3-4 hours, but usually less. They finished six hours later - and only began work on our dog once we arrived to pick her up 4.5 hours later! (They told us it would be a 30 minute wait. It was an hour-and-a-half.) And to top it off, they only gave her a hair-cut and brief bath, not the service we had ordered. (She was even still damp when we got her back. And the haircut was patchy, obviously a rush job.) On a follow-up with the manager they tried to lie to us about what was done - saying we had only ordered a basic cut, when that was not the case and was on their invoice. Then they gave another, entirely different story about what had happened when we pointed out our original request was on the invoice. Find another groomer: mistakes can be made, but trying to lie to paying customers to cover up your mistakes is pretty evident of bad business practices. This is the first time Ive felt the need to write a negative review of any business.

I bought a Red Clawed Crab last weekend and it died. Though, when I purchased it they did not tell me anything about it or even give me care paperwork. They had no idea what it even was. Therefore, I called them and told them exactly what I said above and she said if I brought it in they would give me two instead of one and a free sample of Crab food and sorry about the inconvenience. She was nice and I appreciated her kindness. Then when I went in the next day to return the deceased crab, they acted like we were lying and made it clear that the whole free sample thing sounded "far fetched". Lets hope I have better luck considering they still did not give me careforms or their pamphlets about the crabs.

This is related to the grooming department. I have a doodle and upon arrival the statement was made to me they werent very sure about how to cut his hair , so I figured Id help and give them some suggestions on it. In references to his head I asked for a trim on the head and just a slight trim on his beard. I also asked for his tail to just be trimed. My dog was given back to me with a shaved head and beard, no hair was touched on his ears, and they shaved half of his tail off. The job was patchy and we will not be using their service again.

The grooming center was terrible, the shaved ALL the hair off of my doodle, EVERYWHERE. And cut his tail like a poodle (which I specifically said DONT TOUCH HIS TAIL). I absolutely hate it. It was odvious that they didnt want to take the time to work on him properly and totally stripping him of his wonderful doodle characteristics. If they felt they needed to go differently than we discussed they should have called me first. They over book themselves where if it isnt going to be easily achieved then just cut it off. Im so disappointed.

The last time me and my girlfriend went we were going to buy a fish tank and there was one for the $40 price range we had in mind. But when we got to the checkout it rang up $62 and I told the cashier the price was 39.99 and they told me to stay and they would check. They came back a few moments later and said someone put it in the wrong spot. So long story short me and my girlfriend walked out with a $20ish dollar discount for someone elses mishaps. And I enjoyed how the employee handled it.

I bought 5 green anoles for my daughter for her birthday. The woman wasnt even sure how many she had put in the two boxes she gave me. She let a lzard run behind the cage while trying to catch them after the store tried to talk me into not buying them. They are very quick and difficult to grab sometimes. When I opened the box over the tank, I had only 4, thats 2 in each box. And one of those was very skinny and unhealthy. Shame to Petsmart!

2 weeks ago, pet smart sold me a snake that COULD NOT DIGEST HER FOOD and did not disclose that information with me. she only survived for 2 weeks and could not eat or use the bathroom. for the two weeks I had her, I was out 100s of dollars from vet bills. I am very upset with their services and will not be returning to buy animals anytime in the near future.

Yeah they have over priced items their sales staff is useless and the dogs and cats they have from the shelter are bogus. My friend got a cat from there and is now out over $2000 in vet bills and cant get anyone there to even take a phone call. That is horrible.

We took our dachshund here for grooming and were not disappointed. They did a fantastic job, and were very nice and friendly as we were going over options and leaving our dog in their care.

If I got rate this no stars I would. I got a hamster about a couple months ago. it only lived for a couple of weeks. maybe 2. and it sickly. Same on petsmart. Do not ever get a pet here.
