I went there yesterday and ordered a strawberry Italian soda, which is a pretty simple drink to make. It was not good at all it only tasted like the club soda. So I went back and asked if I could please get a new one and one barista looked at me like I was an idiot. She then called someone else..same thing happened. Then that person called an older lady, which Im guessing was the owner. Instead of her being nice she just said why didnt you like it, I told her but she just telling me that it looks like they did make it right. I never said it didnt have the half n half I just I could only taste the club soda. Finally I asked for my money back and she said no. Then finally after all this she said she could remake it but I was upset at how rude I had been treated by her and her employees I just said never mind and left. They need to work on their people skills. Ill never go back their again.

Setting aside the rumors and hatred against Mocha Tree, I decided that because I was in somewhat of a desperate need of a job I would give them a chance. After setting a time and day of having an interview with who I assume was the hiring manager, I was left with disappointment. Showing up five minutes early than my interview was set at, I had to wait an entire hour past my interview time because the ladies working had said she is still in an interview with another girl, and could last up to two hours long. Maybe if the time management skills were much better thought out beforehand, Id still have hope for their business to be successful in the long run.

Waited 5 minutes to get up to the window. Then another 10 minutes waiting for a bagel. While the other side of the drive threw was being helped faster than the other side. Normal dont take 10 minutes for a bagel. And when I got it, it was burnt!!! Was not worth my money or time. Plus they need to have rock salt or gravel in their drive threw so cars dont slide into the building during winter!!!! Owner and employees need to work on being faster, more efficient and better customer service!!!! At busy times needs to be more employees!!!!

Wonderful local business! I see negative complaints, and this business has been open for OVER decade, so they must be doing something right! This local family works hard to perfect their business, and Im honestly shocked at how harsh people are being.. I love strong good quality coffee and I like that up to 6 shots is the same price! usually I pay way too much just to get an extra shot or two! love this place and their excessively caffeinated drinks!! Defiantly try the frappe when you get a blended drink... dangerously amazing!

Was the ONLY person waiting for a drink. After 10 min of nothing I asked for my money back and then the old woman was like "O its ready now", mind you as shes pulling it out of the microwave. NO THANKS. I am not paying for a microwaved drink. I can do that at home. I wanted it steamed with foam. Then the old woman was all pissy and claimed that I have not been waiting 10 min. Maybe if she was doing her job and not chatting about non work related things....she would have notived the time.

Love the coffee unfortunately the staff has went downhill recently. They do not move with a sense of urgency any longer and this creates lines of people. They just refused to make a breakfast bagel because they said the lines were too long. There was one car behind me and one on the other side. What! I just waited in that line to order and they refused to make what I waited for. The customer is not always right, but what happened to legitimate customer service.

I havent gone to this place in almost a year. My friend and I went, they were standing around talking which means they took forever with our drinks. They tried to lie and say they gave us our change when they hadnt. Then when my friend told them theyd made her drink wrong they denied it and were very rude about it. She ended up just giving the drink back and got her money back. So we went down the street to the cottage to get good coffee.

Have too agree the letter of your daughters was a mistake. You should make her put a public apologies on your business face book. This is worst than you think . This employee didnt screw you . Your childs lack of compunction might lose you everything. I feel for you but this is a learning moment for both of you. WoW BTW most your customer base are 30or 40 years old , some make minium wages. You publicly insulted just about everyone.

I dont know what the other reviewer is talking about. Ive been getting coffee from the Mocha Tree for at least 5 years almost every day. Ive never had one complaint yet. Sometimes theyll get a new person in there that might put too much coffee in the drink or something......but theyre really quick to fix it if you complain. Great customer service. Its my favorite coffee shop and could be yours too if you try them out!

The notable influx of poor ratings are mostly from people jumping on the bandwagon of one woman who worked for a day, quit over text without a two weeks notice because the toilet didnt work, ended up having a text argument with the owner that got out of hand, and posted it all over social media instead of working it out like an adult. I recommend trying it for yourself and basing your opinion off of that.

I go by here at least once a week as its on my way to work. As of late, the wait time is outrageous, the coffee is mediocre at best, and the prices seem to be going up and up. I remember when they had their multiple locations and their service and quality were stellar, what happened to those days? I will still go by there, but only when I have a half-hour to wait in line for a basic cup of coffee.

This place is a joke. The owner doesnt pay employees. She offers holiday pay then says you dont deserve it. They have also been known to run out of coffee beans and serve customers decafe without telling them. The owner is racist and has stated the only people who will pay more then $20 on drinks is Mexicans because they are dumb. She needs to be shut down.

Mocha Tree was very unpleasant when they had my order wrong. The lady was talking rudely about us when they were asked to remake our drinks. Also had jerked the wrong drink out of my hand. Normally they are very nice. But I think theses ladies must have been new. Not happy with my last experience going there.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. Ive heard and experienced nothing but terrible things from this place. The owner is rude, and bashes on her employees. Shes said if youre in your 30s and working minimum wage that youre a loser. plis their coffee is terrible. Worst place in Yakima.

Im so lived with them for putting soda stream in my redbull drink and charging me for redbull and I was a regular customer I even asked the daughter if she was putting soda stream in it she lied I thought it tasted way too sweet I will never go there again they are nothing but frauds
