Went shopping here and had an employee hovering 1 foot behind me the whole time no matter what random aisle I walked down, which toward the end of my trip I tested. She unhappily asked me what project I was working on and even showed me to a thing I asked for but still hovered a foot away. I eventually asked her if she was following me because it was that ridiculous and I let her know that she was making me uncomfortable. She said she wasnt and that she was just doing inventory again not smiling, I dont believe that for a second. She followed behind me until I checked out. It was really insulting and stressful, I think I actually would have purchased more things if I didnt feel harassed. I have never felt so uncomfortable shopping in my life. This is a horrible way treat your customers, Im never shopping at Michaels again.

I just went to return an item to MICHAELS with my receipt; as it is more than 60 days since my purchase, I understand that they cannot credit back my card and that they need to give me a gift card. Not only did they give me a gift card but they refused to refund the entire purchase price; for a $19.50 purchase they gave me credit for $11.70 treating it as a return without a receipt because of the time frame. I went to buy some paint, I left the store without making my purchase, Ill get it elsewhere. Ill also be posting this to my Pinterest page for all my followers there. I think this is short-sighted on their part and I think that when enough people hear about this theyll let their wallets do the talking as well.

LOVE these guys! Only use them for needlework framing...fast, efficient job plus people tske as long as you want/need to choose just what you want AND what will look right. Very helpful with suggestions and can even show you what it will look like when finished. Also honor others coupons, plus are less costly than competitors

The smells in that store hits you like a ton of bricks! I cant spend more then five minutes in that store without having the worst headache for the rest of the day.Please make the yucky smells go away

Pros: Staff is welcoming, helpful and always pleasant. Cons: Michaels carries limited products and their coupon policy and prices are not competetive in the Arts and Crafts industry.
