I like Kazoodles a lot. Theyre a little local toy store, and they really are careful about what kinds of toys theyll carry. Youll find the standard midrange toys (Melissa & Doug, etc), along with some higher end playthings (HABA, Waldorf Dolls, etc.) and some basics, too. On the suggestion of the owner, we got our Bilibo and our Plasma car for last years "Santa" gifts for the kids. They still play with both things every single day! Which is more than I can say for the play kitchen that I spent more than I care to divulge on, or half of the things Ive bought them, really. Clearly, Kazoodles knows their clientele! Theyve got a great facebook presence and are prompt to answer online queries: "Do you guys have the Elf on the Shelf?" "Yes! We only have 3 left, would you like me to hold one for you?" Simple as that! For the record holiday elf-lovers, they are the ONLY "Elf Adoption Center" in the Portland Metro Area! The shopping center where Kazoodles is located is pretty centrally placed, in Eastern-Central Vancouver. Its easy to access from all parts of town...Im coming from Camas, so its a bit of a drive, but not as much as their location in downtown Vancouver was! The store is excellent, and set up for kids to enjoy while parents shop. While they dont have an isolated play-ampitheatre like SpielWerk, theyre also a lot more affordably priced (Sorry SpielWerk!)! I shop both stores for my kids, and recommend Kazoodles as a great spot for birthday gifts, and your own kids as well. I think they even wrap. Which is always a deal-sealer for me, as Im a chronic last-minute birthday gift-buyer!!

We love Kazoodles! Its a charming store that really knows what kids like. We have found the perfect gifts there for the last several years and not just for kids! You can tell that the owners are wonderful parents and grandparents who really care about kids and want them to have a wonderful childhood full of enriching experiences. It is close to 205 and has tons of free parking, there are also a lot of nice places to get a bite to eat after shopping! Some people might find their prices high but if you compare apples to apples you will find their prices comparable with other stores best toys. They just save you the time of picking through the poor quality toys you can find at less expensive stores. Our little girl has a lot of toys but the ones she plays with most came from Kazoodles!

Went into Kazoodles the other day just out of curiosity. I was impressed with the amount of toys available for purchase as well as the wide variety. The staff were helping people find the right gift. If you want a gift for a child that is not yours - this is a great place to go. The staff will help you find the perfect and appropriate gift.

Kazoodles is a great toy store you are the type of person to buy very expensive antique toys. the atmosphere is not kid friendly and the kids seem very bored in the small spaces they have. if youre the type of person to blow a bunch of money on toys for kids then go here.

Great small family run store with uncommon toys, mostly with educational value. My kids love to play while I shop. Attended a financial book reading one day with my oldest child, and it started the conversation about saving money. Great store. We are regular customers.

Best toy store in town! Very few character marketing toys. Lots of smart, high quality options for special gifts. Free wrapping. Rewards program that makes up the price difference between shopping local and shopping online.

The store is cute, but everything is extremely expensive. I appreciate that they are local, but amazon has the exact same brands for much less. I will not be returning.
