I was just at Magic Mouse Toys, doing the tourist thing with a friend. I will admit that Im not dressed in the nicest way (ratty flannel, torn jeans) but again, Im doing the tourist thing and dressed for comfort. I also say that service should not be reliant on a dress code. We were poking through the store looking for gifts when I saw a roll up piano on a counter and played a few keys. I noticed the price, because it was prominent and easy to read. I asked my friend about buying it as a gift for a friend of ours, because they mentioned wanting a keyboard but didnt have the space for it. An employee, an older man in glasses, looked at me and said haughtily "well /thats/ fifty dollars", basically saying that I couldnt afford it. My friend and I left immediately. Magic Mouse Toys: is that how you treat your customers? Do you immediately profile people and assume they cant afford to pay because of arbitrary factors? This is disgraceful. If you choose to visit this shop I advise dressing in the finest brand name clothes. Throw some diamonds on, wear some heels. Clearly only the best dressed people are potential customers.

More fun than you can shake a juggling club at! This classic toy store in historic Pioneer Square is a gem of Seattle. Magic Mouse is packed with everything from gag toys, childrens educational toys, juggling supplies, marionettes and classic toys. Two floors are packed so tight with things to see, you could spend a good part of an afternoon in this toy store. There are lots of sample toys out to see and touch as well, making this a much more interactive toy store than big chain stores. Go here, buy here. Your kids will love it and so will your inner child.

This was a very fun toy shop to explore. There were so many creative toys, itd be a great place to pick out a unique gift, or, if youre like me, spend an afternoon on a date just checking out the selection. There are toys for all ages here, classic and modern. Some educational, but mostly just for creative play. They also have a set of beautiful carved wooden blocks that are painted with elements from the periodic table that stole my (nerdy) heart.

Wont Allow Breastfeeding? I was discreetly nursing my infant in a back corner of the store while my husband shopped at MMT when a store employee told me I couldnt breastfeed in the store and said I should try the coffeeshop down the road. Extremely surprising & disappointing - we will not be giving this store our business.

This is my favorite toy store in Seattle. I came here as a child and it was always magical and so much fun. The staff is friendly and its hard not to stay too long as there is plenty to explore and play with. Smile.

I really like this toy shop. They have a huge selection.The one thing I wish was different was the method for refunding. I wish they allowed refunds instead of store credit. Either way Ill be back.

The wide selection of toys here is great for every age! Even adults can have a laugh at some of the toys available. Some of the items here were a little pricey but worth the quality of the products!
