Went in to buy a kite, took it out immediately. We were beginners and so didnt realize the kite had a manufacturers defect; spent 20 minutes trying to fly a kite that would never, as its governed by physics, be able to fly. Took it back to the shop to figure out the problem and received a replacement one that the sales lady set up to make sure it was functional. Ok, cool, time to fly! But it was windy out and our included line snapped after ten seconds, sending our brand new second kite plummeting, where one of the rods broke on impact. So back to the shop again, only to learn that first repairs are free! So this awesome sales lady fixed our kite AND gave us some heavier string at no additional cost. Great place. When we get a nicer or another kite will definitely be doing it here!

Personalized service at its best! I spent a long time selecting a kite for my birthday. Michael never made me feel like I was in the way or a bother, even though the store was abuzz with weekend trade. Great suggestions and explanations. Spent the next three hours flying my kite, walking the beach with it, napping with it, listening to it. I will most likely be buying more accessories and kites from them in the future. This store exemplifies what you expect and more from a specialty shop. Wish I could give them six stars.

I love this store, the staff are very friendly and helpful. My family and I recently stayed in Lincoln City, and although we purchased our stunt kites on ebay, Northwest Winds was very helpful repairing damaged support rods and getting us back in the air. Their store is amazing, with a large selection of kites and wind banners. We will definitely return on our next vacation to Lincoln City.

Helped fix my kite in minutes. A strut broke and they repaired on the spot. Kind of service that takes you back to the good old days. Upgraded my sons kite with stronger string. He loves the new feel. Thanks! BTW I never take the time to review.

These guys know their stuff! I bought two air foil style kites from them 5 years ago and they are in as good of condition today and they were the day I bought them! Worth the additional cost to upgrade to a nicer kite

We bought trick kites! The shop was neat and cindy was extremely helpful and fun! She thought us how to fly the kites and even offered to come to the beach and help us learn. Great place!
