Last week, I tried to buy a promotional Lego minifigure. (You had to buy $40.00 of Star Wars Legos and get it for free, or youre supposed to be able to buy them for $3.99 a piece) Lego has put out official statements saying so, however, the monthly ads for TRU didnt. The lady at the cash register reeked of perfume, and was not very....nice. She talked to me in a very sassy tone, like I wasnt worth her time. She called over the manager (I assume it was the manager, she was the only one in a red shirt, as the other employees wore blue.) She wouldnt listen to me when I told her about Legos official statements. I was told to come back at the end of the month to see if surplus figures were there. I used to love this store, however I will never come back. I was treated with Wal-Marts level of service, which was surprising. I usually go in there once or twice a month, and have never been treated that badly. I have applied for a job there, but will deny it if I get a call.

The customer service has much to be desired. We have had management tell us over the phone that they will match an online price and then do not. Then will say that they never said what they said. More recently, we tried to use a gift card and were told that the card could not be used because most likely the systems were down, of the company that they go through for the gift cards. They said we could probably use it another time... Umm not our problem, they said they could not do anything. In my experience, this is a simple fix of taking the gift card and adjusting the price. Some good old customer service, going above and beyond (or just the right thing) to make the customer happy when its the companies fault. Only go to this location if I need something ASAP.

Ive gone over the years but I am happier now that the childrens toys are not so expensive. Right now they have a great variety of packages from all movies that ate out, at a great deal. Baby clothes is still a little over priced but if you hit the clearance racks, you are looking at 3.68 3piece sets. They also price matched a 100.00 toy to Wal-Marts 79.00 deal and gave me no problem on my screen shot. Staff is great, have always been kind to me. They all seem to know about the latest toys too which is expected.

Booooo. HIGH prices. Clearance, or even "sale" items, are the same price at Wally world. Even the "TRU Exclusive" stuff is not that great. Check Amazon/Ebay first. This is not the same TRU I had as a kid. Stale, vanilla environment. Also: why wont you hire me? Im not a criminal, can pass a drug screen, and have plenty of retail experience. It must be something in their lame computerized questionnaire that doesnt jive. Very stupid. Wont be shopping there anymore, either.

Spent a good amount of time setting up a baby registry. They forgot to give us our rewards card back, we had to walk away from the checkout with our transaction suspended to pick it up from the registry booth. Then when we returned to the line, instead of bringing us back up to the front of the line after we had already waited in line I had to wait a second time behind a family with a lot of items. It was extremely poor customer service.

I love this store. They always have what im looking for. The workers are always helpful and friendly.They are a little expensive but most people dont know that they will price match stores like Target and Walmart. I love there rewards program and if you sign up for there monthly flyers they will send you coupons for 15% off and free Dr Browns bottles.

Great place to get your ever day toy needs and, pretty much, they have the ones Im looking for. But, I would have to agree with how the staff is not very knowledgeable. Especially when its about one of the stores BOGO offers. -DONT MAKE ME FEEL STUPID, WHEN YOU SAY $10 and I SAY "NO" SOULD BE CHEAPER.

Went to buy a video game for my sons birthday. We went back there to find out they dont have anyone back there. So my son went up to grab someone from customer service and was told someone would be right over. We waited 20 minutes for someone. Next time we will go some where else.

Been coming to this TRU since I was 4 years old. Some of the best toy purchases of my life were made here and I hope my 18mo old son will be able to say the same thing. Still have the Geoffrey t-shirt I got for signing up for my first credit card at TRU too. Memories. =:xB

Tried to do their "online" layaway. It says item is not available or sold in the store so it wouldnt let me. It listed 5 stores around my area and they all said not available or sold out. Bull crap! So went to walmart they have the same things and for better prices

This is a good place to find a variety of things for kids when you are lacking ideas. This facility also houses a Babies"R"Us which is quite nice. It would be wonderful to see lower prices and more knowledgeable employees in regard to their products.

I dont wanna grow up, Im a Toys-R-Us kid! :) Its a little nostalgic to walk into the place. I love the add on of the baby stuff, too. Appreciate that they carry wooden toys and newer electronics too! Wish they had more Hello Kitty though...
