I recently bought an expensive chefs knife as a gift for my girlfriend which included some free sharpenings. I dropped off about 6 of her knives to be sharpened. When I got them back, the most precious knife in my girlfriends collection was completely destroyed. It had a HUGE bow in the blade and was unfixable. This knife was given as a gift to her from a prestigious chef she worked for out of his own personal collection. It is also a rare knife. Needless to say, its priceless. Upon returning to the store, we were told Knoll was the store manager responsible for sharpening. He is in his early 20s and has no business being the store manager. He told us since he sharpens all knifes the same way, theres no way he could have made a mistake. The knife must have a problem, or something. He told us theres nothing he could do. (weve been coming here for YEARS!!!) His superiors were not helpful, offering us more sharpenings to make up for the destroyed knife. HAHA! After a month of run-around, we finally got a new knife, but it will never replace the knife that was destroyed, and we will NEVER go back there again. Ironically, Brooks, another employee there gave us the best customer service weve ever recieved. I guess it just depends on the person. DONT HAVE YOUR KNIFES SHARPENED HERE.

I will not go back to Radio Shack. I went shopping for one type of cell phone provider and the sales guy had me look at another cell provider because he said the hotel I work for gets a discount. It was to be a 24% discount on my monthly bill, I thought that was great. I called the cell phone provider to activate my phone and they asked how I liked working for the one hotel, and I said there was a mistake, I worked for a different hotel. Then they told me that I dont get that 24% discount, as they checked my work history. Instead I get a 5% discount which I would be pay over $20 dollars more a month then I had planned. They said the Radio Shack guy purposely put in the wrong hotel name to get me to buy the phone and for me to find out way later, after I was locked into it. The cell phone provider was very sorry about it all. I am now shopping for a new phone plan and going to talk to the management of Radio Shack for their underhanded selling. I will not be back there!

Ive been to Express Alterations a few times because they are really convenient and because I didnt know of anywhere else. The times I went, never once was I greeted by the women working there and when I finally did get their attention, I got the impression that they were annoyed I was interrupting their work/conversations. The work is fine, not the best Ive ever had. But this last time I was quoted $80 to hem the bottom of a dress and take in the top a few inches- the dress only cost me $30 in the first place. And then when I said I needed to think about it, she looked at me annoyed, said "ok" and turned back to her work. Once again, they didnt even look up from their work as I exited the changing room and turned to leave. The bad attitude and high pricing pretty much guarantees I wont be back.

Wife bought me 2 t-shirts via debit card. Having more free time than her, I tried to return one of them and was told they "CAN"T" because I did not have the original debit card. Really? I guess my assumption all these years was that debit is pretty much the same as paying cash. They could give me store credit...why would I want store credit from a store that says cant? What good is a manager that has no authority to make a decision that would retain a customer? They may have been right, but were they wise....NO, Ill never be back nor will my wife. Blows my mind this day and age when the brick and mortars are fighting the on-line stores for every customer they can get only to let one walk out the door disappointed! Now I am taking back both t-shirts!

I went they quoted me $50 to hem the top of my daughters dress, I was okay with that then 30 to hem the bottom. I thought it was pricey but still left it. We had to go in 3 different times to get fitted. She was busy told us to come back. So when we went back thats when she said it was going to be $50 dollars more! I was very upset I let her know she quoted us $80 she said NO! She said I can look around I am not going to find another alteration place thats affordable like she is. UNFORTUNATELY we didnt have time to take it somewhere else. Two days away from the event. Try planning your alterations with time I learned the hard way!

I needed 3 buttons put back on. Dropped off on a Monday and said it will be done and to pick up in Friday. I go to pickup on Friday and she couldnt even find my clothes. Once she found them she said come back in 10 minutes. Came back in 20 still was helping others and had not even started on my clothes. They were there all week and they didnt even get worked on.

They are only getting better with all their improvements. I love this place. Only thing is that its sad to see so many businesses closing because they are charging way too much for rent. Many of the shop owners have lost so much because they keep raising the rent....I hope they realize that we love the little shops too!

Called in before I came in to make sure they had the correct and product I was looking for. Elfa, the employee helped me out on the phone and was very very nice! She helped me get the correct product and took care of everything! Best Experience thanks to Elfa!

It is ok. The prices are very high (but its in the mall, so I guess thats probably to be expected) and the work was ok. I got the same dress taken in the out a year later. It never fit very smoothly after it was let back out.

Really bad attitude when I told her I needed it to be a rush order. I get that its a hassle for them but that why they charged me more. This has happened multiple times with this place.
