EVERY single time I shop here, it is impossible to find anyone to help me. I am not being dramatic, the service here is totally apathetic. They are also often out of items I need, making me so frustrated that I had to drive all the way down there to get them. Here is an anecdote from the last time I was there, as an example of my story. I drove 20 minutes to get there to stock up on onesies and other basics. To my surprise, they were completely out of white onesies in any size larger than newborn. I knew this couldnt be right, so I searched for someone to help me. Finally I found three employees having a personal conversation at the registry desk. They saw me waiting there with two unhappy kids under the age of two, yet no one moved to help me. One mentioned something about being frustrated she couldnt pull up her tax forms at work. FInally, one woman walked off quickly. I yelped, "Hey! I have a question! Dont you have ANY white onesies in stock?" She said, "If theyre not out, I guess not." I asked if there were any in the back room (I mean, come on, onesies are pretty basic, how does a baby store run out?) She repeated, annoyed, "If theyre not out, I guess not." I went to the front desk to pay for my other item (A pack of bottle nipples. Nothing else I came to buy was in stock). No registers were open. I stood there a while, finally a woman came up. I asked her about the onesies. She asked me if Id asked anyone to check in the back room, that usually there is stuff there. (!!) I told her I had, and the woman didnt think there would be any, but didnt seem to want to check. She said, "Oh." I told her its frustrating to drive down there only to be disappointed and not get much service, and I told her now Id have to go buy my things from Target instead. She nodded, gave me my receipt and launched into this spiel that I have heard her give me every time Ive encountered her before about how I should go online and fill out a customer service survey. She has this little canned speech that goes something like, "We would appreciate a perfect score of "10", but "9" IS still passing." I thought, "Didnt you hear a thing I just said? My experience just STUNK here and you are asking me to give you a 10?" Her manager would be shocked. In a nutshell, as soon as I finish using up my gift credits here, I will not return. And I dont know ANY MOMS who disagree with me about the unpleasantness of shopping in this store. I wish we had better options in town.

I have shopped here for years and have spent many thousands of dollars. I have put up with the extreme rudeness of the management but understand the stress this type of business carries. I own a business and work with the public and could not imagine treating my customers the way I am often treated. The kicker was trying to return some items that I had purchased pre Christmas (returns were minimal for amount I purchased). Though I had a receipt and purchased all items on my reward card to ensure lookup I was given a store credit with literally no explanation. I also bought two of one item and was given $30 less because they "couldnt find" the receipt. This was a new item that had never been on sale and I had a receipt and apparently my nephew had returned his with no problem and they thought that was "suspect". What?? Heres my conclusion. I will use my ridiculous store credit and never shop here again. The $30 Sent me over the limit. They have lost a customer that spent an annual ridiculous amount. I will find what I want or need for my kids and employees kids and family and toy donations elsewhere where the business is appreciated and Im not treated like Im some kind of jerk for trying to return items that have been purchased with a receipt and in a timely manner. Cmon Toys R Us! Your store looks like a warehouse (boxes stacked up on each shelf; go buy more back end space for inventory) My son is now at the age where the toys are becoming prominent and this is the closest option to look for something he will like. I dont like that Babies R Us is combined with the Toys R Us store. When we would shop for baby stuff, it is minimal (go to Buy Buy Baby!) The worst part of their store is the check out and customer service. Last Christmas, they allowed customers to sign up for credit cards at check out. Slowed down the lines. Cashiers arent aware of promos and again slow lines. Listen, I understand the people that need a credit card or need there extra stuffed animal but send those people to the customer service line and have them wait. Be prepared with coupons and the knowledge of what you need before you go into this store because employees dont know what youre talking about. And get someone in the front that looks like they want to say hi to people. Last time I was there the employee was talking to his friend, not handing out the coupon book and welcoming customers to their store. Cmon man!

I understand different stores= different employees + stock, so Im vouching for Bellevue. The employees are SO helpful, they are always willing to sit down and explore the computer + website if I cant find what Im looking for. The registry gals (Roxanne and Shannon) have spent hours touring + helping me and giving personal insight into products (must haves, I like or dislike) and have shared lots of personal stories that made me laugh. There is always a manager available at Bellevue, and theyve made returns very easy. I have received tons of coupons that beat any other stores prices and they were even nice enough to explain other stores policies and registry perks (since Target employees were totally useless and told me to go home/online and figure it out). Their registry is very easy to navigate (for a computer novice and 1st time mom). Sometimes they need more employees at the registers and the speeches they are trained to give can be annoying (but hey, its their job). Bellevue B R Us definitely gets my vote

I will no longer shop at this location due to the extreme rudeness and effort the employees take to make my experience there the worst possible. I had to do a return which I had a receipt for and was under all of the guidelines and they still made it horrible. I had to go out and get one of the same products myself for them to scan the barcode (isnt that what the receipt provides?), then return and wait through a long line once again. Snappy rude attitudes each time. They lied to me and told me they couldnt access my baby registry, but yet Tacoma was able to look it up instantly. Interstingly enough I usually shop the Tacoma Mall location and I have never had a poor experience there. Apparently sites can vary greatly because Tacoma is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to make my shopping experience pleasant and smooth.
