Yesterday my wife and I shopped at the Safeway at 15332 Aurora Avenue North, Shoreline, WA and were checked out by a cashier named Tina. This was the worst grocery purchase experience I have ever had. She was so rude to us that Im still bothered by it, and stunned that she has managed to hold down a job. At one point in scanning items, I presume an item wouldnt scan correctly, because with no word to us, she simply walked away. My wife and I were left standing there, not knowing what to think. I wanted to simply leave, but we actually needed some of the items that we were purchasing. Additionally, the entire transaction was filled with snide remarks from the cashier. My wife and I walked out of the store completely stunned, and my wife was nearly in tears. I *assure* you, we will never go to this Safeway ever again, and will avoid Safeways in general at all costs.

Had to wait for about 10-20 minutes for help at the liquor aisle had to push the call for help multiple times and even had to walk to a cash register and ask for help and another gentleman was waiting probably 5 minutes before I even got to the isle I heard him hit the assistance button twice before I even got there so at the least 15 minutes he had to wait and at most 25 thats pretty poor service

Went to grab Milk quickly and left my competent, 9 year old, in the car in the very front to wait for me. Announcement was made that Child Protective Services would be called for leaving my son in the car. Nobody was at the car in concern for my son when I immediately checked on him. Maybe a competent staff employee should check the situation before announcing something like this. Just saying.

I am going to tell you what I have told the manager more than once..." Why dont you hire more checkers because the line is too long!" I HATE this place...the lines are horrendous. I already believe this store is over priced so please Safeway hire some more help so you can take our money faster. Better yet to those people reading this at home, find directions to the nearest WinCo and go there.

Courteous staff with a small-store feel. But they do get busy without sufficient staff for checkout lines, so expect you may occasionally need to wait a bit. Products include the usual fare for Safeway and Albertsons stores. Theres a small Starbucks inside. A store/coffee bar seating area is outstanding: Spatious and comfortable, you can take your pick from both chairs and stools.

This place used to be horrible. It was dirty, stocked bad products, and the lines to checkout were long and slow. Now the store is clean, the prices are cheap, and the checkout lines are a lot faster. Id still recommend Central Market over this place, but for a cheaper solution, this place is good.

Safeway is a grocery store. You can buy produce and dry goods, or even microwave stuff and other bourgeois delights. This particular Safeway is 10 blocks north of the Seattle city limits and does not pay its employees the Seattle minimum wage. As a result this particular Safeway is understaffed.

Major waste of time when I had none. Needed to return a DVD express DVD but this one didnt accept mine and wants me to return it somewhere else. Also the soups were neglected, some one even put clam chowder into a jambalaya. I will make an effort to avoid this Safeway at all cost.

If you have to go to Safeway theres a better one across the freeway. Service is slow. Mens bathroom is always dirty. Products are frequently not stocked. No modern self check so youre always waiting in a line of 3 to 4 people. Heck Fred Meyers up the street has self check.

Starbucks barista at 5:45 pm charged me for a Vente LATTE but only gave me a Grande size ..specifically stated larger size. Made an iced drink instead of hot one. This clerk really needs to pick up her listening skills.

Severe lack of cashiers, prepare to wait 15+ minutes in line for one of two check out stands. Sale prices are regular prices of other stores or more expensive. Better off at any other grocery store in the area.

No self-checkout available at this busy location. Not enough checkstands open during peak-busy periods. Very small site for a grocery-store-chain. Overall, dissatisfied and disappointed.

I just stopped here on the way home to get some coffee and bread. There was adequate parking and the things I was looking for were in stock. Nothing to complain about from my one visit.

A little smaller than the one a short way up north on Pacific highway. Youll find most goods you need. There is no pharmacy. Theres lots of parking, thats never an issue.

They never have enough checkers and its always a 20 min wait in line to check out. The manager of this place should be retrained or let go because this is unacceptable.

Very well-stocked, and even has a decent amount of organic food, but seems to be operated with minimal staffing, hence there are often long lines at the cashiers.

Im glad it is open and functional again after a hiatus involving the albertson/safeway merger. This store has a very decent selection of all things food-stuffs.

Just ate off their wing bar, and now Im suffering harsh stomach ache. Those need to go out n start covering. Food poisoning isnt what I wanna pay for....

Dont buy anything frozen from this store. Itll melt while you wait in the long checkout lines. They always seem to be understaffed with checkers.

The DMV of grocery stores. Very understaffed be prepared for a long wait in the checkout line or the deli. I finally quit shopping here.
