Found a scarce auto part I needed on NAPAs web site. Price was higher than a better component from competitors (Amazon and others), but only NAPA had one IN-STOCK, and I wanted to make repairs within a couple of hours. They offer a 10% discount for online purchase with in-person pick up. So I "purchased" it, which turned out only to be a reservation--card is not charged until pick up. Before making the 1-hour round trip I called the Hudson St (S Seattle) location and confirmed with a live person it was in fact in-stock. On my arrival they had trouble finding record of the order. When they found it (after showing no interest in the order number I provided from the form that was SO important to bring), it hadnt been processed properly, so they had to go through a few steps including searching the warehouse. Turned out it wasnt in-stock after all. They told me they had one in Kent and could get it to their store in about two hours. The woman who helped me was perfectly pleasant and did the best she could, but that was effectively the same as waiting a couple of days. So my order went to Amazon.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Came in looking for a radiator cap for a GM 671, the most produced diesel motor in history, and they said they cant look that stuff up. They have a library of parts catalogues and he didnt even try, just looked at me and said to try somewhere else.

Best parts and service in town, with a history that goes back generations. Trusted by Metro, City of Seattle, King County, Port of Seattle just to name a few. Ok Im a little biased since I work there, but I know the company really does try to bring the best parts at a reasonable price.

I had emergency car problems and I was lucky this place was just down the way from work. The retail store was smaller than expected but I imagine they have everything you need in the back. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Very helpful staff. I needed a new weather strip for the trunk of my car because it was leaking, and even though they didnt have the OEM one for my car, they suggested an alternative that was affordable and did the job.

Friendly staff, courteous and helpful. If they dont have what you need in stock, they are willing to order item for you and often get it later the same day.

Smart, friendly staff and a good stock room. The showroom is a bit on the small side (and I mean its tiny) so you might have to ask at the counter.

They no longer recycle oil. Why? Too expensive, they said. So why would you buy your oil there? I dont think theres a good enough reason.
