This has to be the top wine store in the greater Seattle area, which includes a large selections drawn from every major wine producing country, notably large Italian and French selections. The staff has a depth of knowledge not found anywhere else and are happy to share that in a friendly way. The sections are also very well organized making it easy to find what you are looking for. If they dont have want you want, they will make an effort to find it! Dont miss their informal wine tastings to learn more about all types of wine. I have never been disappointed with a suggestion from the staff over many years.

Its like a cute French in Seattle Came here for birthday party but the birthday person doesnt didnt like beer and wine so we had ended with just appetizers but it was cute placement and tastes great! I have been purchasing wine there for decades. Their recommendations have never led me astray. Also if they do not have the wine in stock they will search for it and get it if available. I especially like Vihho Verde, a light lower alcohol slightly petulant wine for summer patio imbibing, which they touted me onto some time ago.

What a happy place! The exterior is a bit intimidating for the casual wino, but inside youll find staff that caters to those of us looking for a $15 rose` just as happily as they might with a more experienced customer. I even learned a few things about my wine!

Lots of stuff here for a small store, but after coming frequently their beer selection seems to be lacking in variety. Could definitely improve with some more rotations. However, hats off for always supporting the local breweries!

The place to go for your wine and hard liquor needs. The prices are reasonable and they have great sales. Did I mention the wine and beer tastings? We make the drive to Seattle just to shop at Esquin.
