I didnt really have a problem when I came here before but the last time I went in, I was told my doctor had to fax the pharmacy an authorization form. The pharmacist was on the phone with my doctor asking him to fax it directly there and she would fax get that information over to the insurance dept. She took down my phone number and told me shed call me as soon as this went through. It has been over a month now and I called back only to be told something completely different. This is frusrating and whoever picked up the phone didnt seem to know what she was talking about. She said "It looks like its been approved because you just picked up last month." I had to correct her before she realized I actually paid out of pocket last month. I dont think Ill be going back here again.

My favorite Bartells. Large prepared item section for a drug store. Have ready made sandwiches, salads, wraps, etc. from local companies (e.g. Mels). Also, have freezer selection, but they took out their microwave (I think due to the downtown crowds congregating in the store). Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, which is surprising considering the downtown location. Love their pharmacy staff. Always willing to do a same-day refill without getting grumpy.

I was in town for business. I had already been on antibiotics for a week and I seemed to be getting worse. I messaged my doctor and she sent a prescription to Bartell Drugs pharmacy and the friendly, helpful staff looked up my insurance information and filled the two prescriptions quickly. Absolutely the best service Ive had at a pharmacy in years!!!!!! I highly recommend this pharmacy for your medication needs.

This Bartells is great for finding more food than others. However, Im much more loyal to the Bartells on Olive and 5th or even the one on 3rd. But for a larger variety of beauty and bath products, this Bartells beats them all. Regardless, I am a Bartell Drugs customer for life and will trust in all their stores.

This is right by my work and I go here all the time - Ive had prescriptions filled here, too. No problems, at all. They are usually good about keeping the line moving and pulling in additional cashiers when necessary.
